Feast Or Famine
Seether Lyrics

So let's face this, 'cause no one knows
I've got the sickness that helps me see
What my fate is, this heaven seed, woo
This room is full of faces I abhor
So take everyone out, blame everyone else
So take care of yourself, feign everyone else
Feast or famine is really going down
If we bait this, perhaps they'll bite
And sedate them to avoid the fight
I've got the sickness that makes me bleed
So don't wake this, just watch it breathe
This room is full of charlatans and whores
So take everyone out, blame everyone else
I get the feeling it's so revealing now
So take care of yourself, feign everyone else
Feast or famine is really going down
Down
So take everyone out, blame everyone else
I get the feeling it's so revealing now
So take care of yourself, feign everyone else
Feast or famine is really going down
I get the feeling it's so revealing now
The feast or famine, is really going down
Down
The lyrics to Seether's song "Feast or Famine" seem to explore themes of hypocrisy, deception, and self-preservation. The singer expresses a sense of disillusionment and isolation in a room full of people they dislike or find immoral. They acknowledge their own flaws and the sickness within them that allows them to see the true nature of their surroundings. The reference to "heaven seed" suggests that the singer may have some sort of divine insight or spiritual awareness.
The song suggests that there's a choice between indulgence and scarcity, hence the phrase "feast or famine." The singer seems to imply that in this environment, it's every person for themselves. They encourage taking everyone out and placing blame on others as a means of self-preservation. The feeling of revelation or exposure is mentioned, perhaps indicating that the singer sees through the facade and pretense of those around them.
The mention of baiting and sedating others to avoid conflict reveals a strategy of manipulation. The sickness that makes the singer bleed suggests that their own vulnerabilities can be exploited. The final lines of the song emphasize again the need to take care of oneself and pretend to be like everyone else, as the concept of feast or famine becomes a reality.

Their music just kicks ass, they don’t have one bad song!
@andrecorpserosado3890
Against The Wall and Waste
They aren't bad, but they are the weak ones
@bryaneaton1960
They are definitely one of my top five favorite rock bands but even still i have to keep it real with myself and admit to myself that "Country Song" was a horrible track & IMO their worst track yet to date! And believe it or not I find it cringier than the hidden track on Karma and effect! Commercial as fuck and at that time it kind of made me feel as though they truly truly sold out period but they've bounced back, their riffs have gotten heavier, they seem to have a permanent lead guitarist now & also Poison The Parish (2017) & Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum (2021) are by far 2 Classic Albums of all time in the Rock genre IMO up there with Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces and Karma and Effect‼
@andrecorpserosado3890
@@bryaneaton1960 Country Song is a good song. And also, Seether is a Post Grunge band, not a Rock band. But i get it. They stop macking songs like Needles, which is my favorite song of em, 69 Tea and songs like that from their first 4 albums, but Country Song is cool just because of that. It is diferent
@Liam_Bob
@@andrecorpserosado3890 I've never heard the wall one, but I like waste.

@@andrecorpserosado3890 I think Against The Wall is one of their best, vocally speaking. Love that harmonization that closes out the song.
