In 2001, their first release titled '‘Strinkadenn Ys’', with Bleunwenn (who worked with others artists as Tri Yann), the new female vocalist member, bring to the band a nice originality. Lyrics are highlighted by the presence of a kabyle singer named Farid Aït Siameur who give an oriental touch to the band. As other Breton bands, Seven Reizh uses many instruments, such as accordion, bombard, flutes, viola and other less known instruments such as kora, udu, bodhran, zarb and duduk.
Five years later, a second album is released. 'Samsâra' has, as its predecessor, a wonderful booklet of about 60 pages of visual effects, editing, painting and photos which give a real atmosphere to the band and help to understand the story.
Before the second album's release, the band gave a show in 2002, in the 'Eclipse' festival (in the south of France).

Seven Reizh proves that music has the power to remind us of our hidden longings and dreams. This music is so deeply touching that a purifying stream of inner water forms while listening to it. Seven Reizh is a key to inner worlds, so this music is like a shamanic drum. I bow to this unique band.
