Bin Puchhe Mera Naam Aur Pataa
Rasmon Ko Rakh Ke Pare
Chaar Kadam Bas Chaar Kadam
Chal Do Naa Saath Mere
Bin Puchhe Mera Naam Aur Pataa
Chaar Kadam Bas Chaar Kadam
Chal Do Naa Saath Mere
Bin Kuch Kahe, Bin Kuch Sune
Haathon Mein Haath Liye
Chaar Kadam Bas Char Kadam
Chal Do Na Saath Mere
Hey..Bin Kuch Kahe, Bin Kuch Sune
Haathon Mein Haath Liye
Chaar Kadam Bas Chaar Kadam
Chal Do Na Saath Mere
Raahon Mein Tumko Jo Dhoop Sataye
Chaaon Bicha Denge Hum
Andhere Daraye To Jaa Kar Falak Pe
Chand Sajaa Denge Hum
Chhaye Udaasi Latife Suna Kar
Tujhko Hansa Denge Hum
Hanste Hansaate Yunhi Gungunaate
Chal Denge Chaar Kadam
Yea Yeah..Na Na Nana...
La Ra La..Ra.
Tumsa Mile Jo Koi Rehguzar
Duniya Se Kaun Darey
Chaar Kadam Kya Saari Umar
Chal Dungi Saath Tere
Bin Kuch Kahe, Bin Kuch Sune
Haathon Mein Haath Liye
Char Kadam Bas Char Kadam
Chal Do Na Saath Mere
Bin Kuch Kahe, Bin Kuch Sune
Haathon Mein Haath Liye
Char Kadam Bas Char Kadam
Chal Do Na Saath Mere.
The song "Chaar Kadam" by Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal is a romantic duet that tells of two lovers who are ready to take their relationship to the next step, without worrying about the societal norms and without the need for words to express their love. The lyrics are beautifully penned by Irshad Kamil and the music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar.
The first verse begins by saying that there is no need for the lovers to exchange their names or find out about each other's past, as they have moved beyond that. They have left the traditions behind and are stepping forward together, one footstep at a time. They don't need words to express their feelings but instead opt to hold hands and walk together, silently. The chorus then repeats the phrase "char kadam" (four steps), which serves as a metaphor for their journey together.
The second verse tells of the couple's willingness to face any challenges that may come their way. They vow to create a comforting shade for each other in the scorching sun, and to bring light to the darkest of nights. They promise to make each other happy by cracking jokes and making each other laugh. The third verse talks about their courage to take the unconventional path and not worry about what society thinks of them. They pledge to fearlessly walk hand in hand, not just for a few steps but for their entire lives.
Overall, the song serves as a beautiful expression of love that is beyond the barriers of societal rules and expectations. It highlights the power of a silent bond and the willingness to take each step together, without fear or doubt.
