How on earth I managed to miss this for over two years I have no idea, but I still feel obliged to write a piece. I bought the EP on bandcamp back in 2014, and I honestly do not think a fortnight has passed since that I haven't listen to it at least once. This song in particular has moved me to tears every single time. I can assert with confidence that it is the single most beautifully romantic piece of music I have ever heard (and I listen to a lot of Bella Morte and The Cure, so that really is saying something, I know it must sound like hyperbole, but I honestly do not make that statement lightly and I mean it with the utmost sincerity). To me it's a gorgeous, soaring, soniferous rejection of sensory overload in favour of appreciating quiet intimate moments. The video is absolutely beautiful, that layered projection effect is fantastic, I think I can make it out nested at least threefold at several points, it gives the video a very dream-like feeling. The colour scheme is very well chosen as well, the black, white, and blue is beautifully dark and subdued, drawing attention, fittingly enough, to the dark places of the frame.
