In 2000, Sia signed to Sony Music's sub-label Dance Pool and released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, the following year. Displeased with the promotion of the record, she signed to Go! Beat and released her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004. The project struggled to connect with a mainstream audience, and so Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and began touring across the United States. She released her fourth and fifth studio releases, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. She then took a hiatus from performing, during which she focused on songwriting for other artists. Her catalogue includes the successful collaborations "Titanium" (with David Guetta), "Diamonds" (with Rihanna) and "Wild Ones" (with Flo Rida).
In 2014, Sia released her sixth studio album 1000 Forms of Fear, which debuted at No 1 in the U.S. Billboard 200 and generated the top-ten breakthrough single "Chandelier" and a trilogy of music videos starring child dancer Maddie Ziegler. In 2016, she released her seventh studio album This Is Acting, which spawned her first Hot 100 number one single, "Cheap Thrills". The same year, Sia gave her Nostalgic for the Present Tour, which incorporated performance art elements. Sia has received an array of accolades, including ARIA Awards and an MTV Video Music Award.

Beat inside me, leave you blind
My love, you have found peace
You were searching for release
You gave it all
You gave into the call
You took a chance and
You give thoughtfully, loved me faithfully
You taught me honor, you did it for me
Tonight you will sleep for good
You will wait for me my love
Now I am strong (Now I am strong)
You gave me all
You gave all you had and now I am home
My love, leave yourself behind
Beat inside me, leave you blind
My love, look what you can do
I am mending, I'll be with you
You took my hand and added a plan
You gave me your heart
I asked you to dance with me
You loved honestly
Did what you could release
I know in peace you go
I won't relieve this love
Now I am strong (Now I am strong)
You gave me all
You gave all you had and now I am home
My love, leave yourself behind
Beat inside me, I'll be with you
The song "My Love" by Sia is a compelling and emotional ode to a loved one who has passed away. The song appears to be a letter from the singer to her loved one, thanking them for their love and care, and expressing how they transformed her life.
The song starts with the lyrics "My love, leave yourself behind, beat inside me, leave you blind." This line suggests that the singer has carried her loved one's love with her, even after they have left. The next line, "My love, you have found peace, you were searching for release" suggests that her loved one was struggling with something in life and they have found peace now.
In the chorus, the singer acknowledges all that her loved one has done for her, "You gave it all, you gave into the call, you took a chance and, you took a fall for us." She goes on to express how her loved one has affected her life in a positive way, "You gave me all, you gave all you had and now I am home."
The song is beautifully written, with emotional and meaningful lyrics. It speaks to the universal human experience of love and loss, and the lasting impact that those we love can have on our lives.

Bella: I want to ask you something
Edward: anything
Bella: okay marriage is the condition for you to change me yourself right?
Edward: yes
Bella: okay I want to negotiate my own condition
Edward: anything you want it’s yours
Bella: do you promise?
Edward: yeah...
—Bella Tries to kiss Edward—-
Edward: Bella no...
Bella: you said that you wanted me to have every human experience
Edward: not that ones that support risk killing you
Bella: you won’t
Bella: everyone says that once I’m changed all I’m gonna want is to slaughter the whole town
Edward: that part doesn’t last forever
Bella: I want you while I’m still me while I still want you this way
Edward: it’s too dangerous
Bella: try just try I’ll go to some ridiculously expensive college and let you buy me a car I’ll marry you just try
—Bella and Edward share a loving kiss—
Edward: stop trying to take your clothes off
Bella: you wanna do that part?
Edward: not tonight
Bella: okay.... I mean you don’t but fine
Edward: believe me I want to I just wanna be married to you first
Bella: you really make me feel like I’m sort of villain trying to steal your virtue or something
Edward: it’s not my virtue I’m concerned about
Bella: are you kidding?
Edward: it’s just one rule I wanna leave unbroken. It might be too late for my soul but I will protect yours
Edward: I know it’s not a modern notion
Bella: it’s not modern it’s ancient
Edward: I’m from a different era things were... a lot less complicated. And if I ever met you back then I would of courted to you.
Edward: we’d have taken chaperoned strolls, or had iced tea on the porch
Edward: I may have stolen a kiss or two but only asking your fathers permission I would have got down on one knee
And I would of presented you with a ring
—Edward shows Bella his mother’s wedding ring—-
Edward: this was my mother’s Isabella Swan I promise to love you every moment of forever
Edward: would you do me the extraordinary honour of marrying me?
Bella: yes....

@likeabunnie
Any Nany haha I definately relate!
My rescue dogs always love me and are predictable, and comforting. I'm very thankful for them. I feel like being a "dog lady" is seen as a bad thing, but it's also nice and it works for me, so that's all that matters, right?
I'm greatful to also have a few very genuine, true, friends, as well.
Love doesn't have to be the romantic kind. The love of friendship and siblings is different, but not less than, the love that can come from a true love romantically.
I realized recently that, while I still hope to someday find, "the one", that I've got several people in my life who will be in life until death separates us.
I'm going to have children someday regardless, and due to the significant chance of me passing on a painful genetic disorder, I'm not going to have biological children, but I've always wished to adopt and/or foster children, and as I've agreed, learned about my disorder, and had increasingly deteriorating health, it's made comforted me to know that I will someday become a mother as I've always wished, in whatever way life ends up leading me.
Family is whoever (and however) you make it. Love is what matters (and those of us with furry friends certainly know love!) ;)

Sia wrote this song about who she said was the love of her life. He suddenly died in 1997, before they could get married, a taxi crushed his head while he was in London. Sia was in Thailand. They had an argument the week before but they were in love. He left her before she could talk to him again after that argument. After receiving the news she fell into depression, she once said that abandoned dogs in Thailand comforted her as she cried and that's why she's now an animalist and activist. Anyway, some friends convinced her to return to London and here she began to devote herself a lot more to music, so she became what she is now. Unfortunately, however, she struggled with depression, alcoholism and drug addiction for more than a decade. She attempted suicide, the night she wrote "Breathe Me" she tried to take 22 painkillers pills and drank an entire bottle of vodka. A friend of hers called her that night to ask her something and jokingly and acting funny, cause he knew something wrong was going on, he saved her. Around 2010/2011 she attempted suicide again and after that she did a 12-step detox program and wrote "Jesus Wept" about it. Now, despite physical problems and serious illnesses, she has a family, she adopted two beautiful boys and she is finally happy.
P.s. Celine Dion made a cover of this song in honor of her late husband shortly after he passed.
