In late 2004 they went on tour, publishing their first concert DVD "Verschwende Deine Zeit - Live" in April 2005, which reached gold status.
On July 2, 2005 they were part of the Live-8 concerts in Berlin.
Silbermond have a global music publishing deal with BMG Music Publishing.
On April 21, 2006, the band released their second album, "Laut gedacht", from which "Unendlich" and later, on July 7, 2006, their second single "Meer sein" were released.
Recently their Single "Das Beste" achieved Platin-Status.

Ich wünschte, sie würden noch viel mehr solche Lieder raushauen. Die können das ziemlich gut. Es gibt nur wenige Popbands, die auch rockigere Lieder hinbekommen, ohne dass es gezwungen wirkt. Deshalb finde ich die alten Alben von Silbermond auch am besten, "Laut gedacht" und "Nichts passiert".
