Find Your Way
Silent Season Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
But all that remains
Is that you find your way
The Way it kills
When Emotions closes all it's doors
And locks you out of everything
Between the lines
That you used to carry each day
When you cared
And now I'm disgusted
By the way I feel
And How I never let things go
The season change
But all that remains
Is that you find your way
I get so lost
Inside these blackened walls
Where I find myself
Reaching to breathe
And now I see that
I can't blame myself
For the way I feel
When I am falling
And now I'm disgusted
By the way I feel
And How I never let things go
The season change
But all that remains
Is that you find your way
The season change
But all that remains
Is that you find your way
I'm disgusted by the way
I felt for so long
This happens everyday (Everyday)
When will I be okay (Be Okay)
This is still a fact
I wont turn my back
On this now
The season change
But all that remains
Is that you find your way
The season change
But all that remains
Is that you find your way
The season change (Change)
But all that remains (Remains)
Is that you find your way
In "Find Your Way," Silent Season presents the idea that, as seasons change and our emotions ebb and flow, the important thing is to find our way in life. The opening lines "The season change / But all that remains / Is that you find your way" reinforce the idea that life is constantly changing, but our purpose remains the same - we must find our way.
The second verse continues this introspective look at life, exploring the way that emotions can close us off from the world around us. The lines "The Way it kills / When Emotions closes all it's doors / And locks you out of everything" present a powerful image of someone struggling to cope with the weight of their emotions, shutting themselves away from the world and everything it has to offer.
As the song progresses, the singer admits to feeling "disgusted by the way [they] feel" and laments not being able to let things go. Despite this struggle, the repeated chorus "The season change / But all that remains / Is that you find your way" presents a message of hope - no matter how lost we may feel at times, there is always a way forward.
Overall, "Find Your Way" presents a powerful message about accepting and navigating the changes in life, and the importance of finding our way through it all.
