Faultline
Silverchair Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Unexpecting brother
Doesn't know what to do
When everything just falls to the ground oh
He runs to find some cover
He doesn't have a clue
That his friend will never be found
When he's informed that he
Will never see the boy
Will never see the boy
You'll never see him open his eyes
We'll never see the boy
Never see the boy
You'll only hear his heavenly cries

Oh yeah oh oh oh

Thinking of the past,
It's all over now,
Mother nature's striked once again,
It happened oh so fast,
Now the question's how,
How could they let that building descend

Oh, yeah, oh

You will never see the boy,
You will never see the boy,
You will never see him open his eyes,
You will never see the boy,
Never see the boy,
You'll only hear his heavenly cries

Oh, yeah, oh, oh, oh,
Yeah, no no never, no oh

After your life, I leave, I'm dead,
Leading me off through the night,

If he's born again, I need you to find,
Need you to find, where he is.

Lyrics

Unsuspecting brother
Doesn't know what to do,
When everything just
Falls to the ground,
Ohh.
He runs to find some cover,
He doesn't have a clue,
That his friend will
Never be found,
When he's informed,
That he...

Will never see the boy,
Will never see the boy,
Never see him
Open his eyes,
Will never see the boy,
Never see the boy
You'll only hear his
Heavenly cries
Ooh,
Yeah.
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh

Thinking of the past,
It's all over now.
Mother nature strikes once again.
It happened all so fast,
My only question's how,
How could they let
That building descend.
Ohh,
Yeah,
Ohh...

You will never see the boy,
You will never see the boy,
You will never see him
Open his eyes,
You will never see the boy,
Never see the boy,
You'll only hear his
Heavenly cries.
Ooh,
Yeah.
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Yeah
No

Off to the new life,
I live on death.
You're leaving me
All through the night.
If he's born again,
I need you to find,
Need you to find
Where he is.
Ugh

Amazing. No wonder their next album was called Freakshow

Trek Star Sam

No internet back then to distract them. I’m sure those boys were in the garage, after school, every day, on most weekends also, and practicing at home too when they weren’t together. Destiny’s child was the same. When those young ladies weren’t in school they were together singing and rehearsing. Beyoncé sang lead in church choir also.
