I'm praising my Lord in victory
I'm praising my Lord in victory
Alleluia
I'm praising Lord in victory
I hold not back for my victory is sure
I'm praising my Lord in victory
And I bless Your holy name
For The Lord is good and His mercy endureth forever
In Jesus name I have the victory
For The Lord is good and His mercy endureth forever
In Jesus name I have the victory
Though the way be rough, there are many mountains ahead
In Jesus name we have the victory
Though the way be rough, there are many mountains ahead
In Jesus name we have the victory
My strength is in You oh God
My joy is in You oh God
My hope is in You oh God
My victory is in You oh God
Everything is in You oh oh God
My peace is in You oh oh God
And I bless Your holy name
Sinach's song Praising in Victory is a proclamation of faith and a declaration of victory in the face of challenges. The lyrics speak of the unshakable belief that victory is already won through Jesus Christ, and this realization brings forth an overflow of praise and worship. The repetition of the opening line "I'm praising my Lord in victory" emphasizes the certainty of triumph even before the battle is fully fought. The singer acknowledges that there will be difficulties and obstacles to overcome, but with God as their source of strength, joy, hope, and peace, they have all they need to be victorious. The song's bridge affirms that the goodness and mercy of the Lord are permanent and eternal, and therefore, the singer can continue to praise in the face of all circumstances.
One of the striking things about Praising in Victory is its simplicity. The song's repetitive structure and minimalistic instrumentation help to emphasize the message of faith and victory. The use of "Alleluia" as a chorus acts as a unifying element that encourages participation from the audience. The call and response format during the bridge further emphasizes the communal and celebratory nature of the song. Sinach's powerful vocals and delivery add to the overall impact of the song.
