Great review! Waiting the comparison between mira and max lumi as a display. Currently want to buy max lumi 2 mainly for the purpose of wireless e-ink display, there's nothing in the web even comparable to your videos

Great video (as ever!), did you use the Mira for reading Kindle books (or similar)? Is it possible to hold it for extended periods just for reading?

Great review. Unfortunately for Boox, in all their current (and previous years') devices, their screen contrast is not as good as the latest Kindles, (.. been there, done that ..) and it doesn't work for me. The characters, icons, images, etc., are just too washed out for my taste, compared to the Kindle (like the latest Oasis for example).

@Of the Refrain So you get rid of your Kindle and I get rid of my Boox, happy days

Awesome video! I'm sure you covered this somewhere in the video, but do you think this a big enough jump over using a monitor app on the Max Lumi 1? Seeing as they are the same size, I don't see a huge benefit but I'm guessing the screen is even more optimized for latency.

@Daniel Kao Maybe in a speed mode, in the high quality mode it's just as slow. The Lumi is actually faster regarding the mouse movement then the Mira, i use them side by side both at the highest quality setting.

@Sascha Heid it's much faster comparing to ONYX Max3. I'm not sure how Max Lumi performs, however, Mira allows you to move mouse cursor quickly and it's matching up the speed you move on screen. That's not possbile for Max3, and I think Max Lumi can't do it well either.

The Mira is not any faster unfortunately. It has some usefull features. The refresh button, the ports, the stronger frontlight, the app etc. but faster it is not. It has most likely the same display.

Omg! Been waiting for it!
Just started watching it so really keeping my fingers crossed that it’s an excellent product since I already ordered it 😅

Thank you for the review, was there any mouse lag on the highest speed modes?
