Formed by Patrick De Witte, rock-journalist for the magazine Humo, former member of the Misters http://houbi.com/belpop/groepen/misters.htm
That is not right the band was formed by Edaward Buadee some years before , Patrick De Witte (past away 19 feb 2013 age 54 years) he make and did give the band a big boost and popular and put them on the map of Belgium.
Essentially a "good-time" & "Party"-band of the late 1980's, who have cheered up many a town-festival and mini-concert. The album "Living in Limbo" is the only time they succeeded in capturing the spirit of the band on record.
Or as it is said in "Wit-lof from Belgium" : "The real force of the Skyblasters were the live performances, a reputation that brought the group to the smallest festival podia in 88 and 89. Good times, no blah-blah about Jah and - very exceptional for a reggae group - usually on time, on the right stage, in the right town."
In 1990, the group splits up a the biggest part of the members join again in a more pop-oriented group : The Wooden Horses.
Singer of the band Eduard Buadee later on tried a solo career. Although "Mama Africa" became a summertime hit, he didn't grasp the attention of the masses so far.

Just Another Day
Skyblasters Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
(The Skyblasters)
Just another day is what you need
Keep on movin’, never turn back
You can hold on just a little while
The sun will shine again
And you will smile again
This morning
You never found the sun
Shining through this loneliness
Keep your head up
That’s the only way
You can find the road to the promised land
Don’t throw in
This life belongs to you, completely
Take a chance and make it right
Never could your story be told
No place to call your home
Give a chance and make it right
(I say)
Better must come
Better will come soon
Listen to this song
Listen to this tune
You have a good day
Once inna blue moon
Better must come
Better will come soon
Strong like a lion
Smart like a baboon
You have a hot meal
But you don’t
Have a spoon
Better must come
Better will come soon
It’s another day you need!
The Skyblasters' song "Just Another Day" is a motivational and uplifting track about persevering through tough times. The lyrics urge the listener to keep moving forward and never give up, even when things seem bleak. The opening lines, "Just another day is what you need / Keep on movin', never turn back" set the tone for the rest of the song. The chorus repeats the phrase "Better must come / Better will come soon" to reinforce the message of hope.
The verses describe the struggles of the singer, who is feeling lonely and lost. The song acknowledges that life can be difficult and that there are times when it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, the lyrics also stress the importance of keeping a positive attitude and persevering through these challenges. The lines "You can hold on just a little while / The sun will shine again / And you will smile again" offer a glimmer of hope for anyone who might be going through a tough time.
Overall, "Just Another Day" is a song about resilience and never giving up, even in the face of adversity. Through its uplifting lyrics and catchy melody, the song offers a much-needed message of hope and encouragement to anyone who might be feeling lost or uncertain.
