Shine
Sofia Nizharadze Lyrics

And the memories we keep from long ago?
Do we ever really know each other's past?
You can't go back to before
But tomorrow will bring even more
Like the tide's gonna turn you will know
You're on your own but you're never alone
Shine shine like the stars in the sky
Wipe your dust off your love let it shine
So when nothing's ever really carved in stone
Remember that your heart is holding on
And when every second melts up in the past
Don't be afraid it will end
Only fear that it never began
Like the tide's gonna turn you will know
when it's cold
You're on your own but you're never alone
Shine shine like the stars in the sky
Wipe your dust off your love let it shine
You can't go back to before
But tomorrow will bring even more…
Like the tide's gonna turn you will know
when it's cold
You're on your own but you're never alone
Shine shine like the stars in the sky
Let it shïne
The lyrics in Sofia Nizharadze's song "Shine" offers a message of resilience and hope. She begins by questioning our understanding of people and their pasts, asking whether we ever truly know someone's soul or the memories they hold. The sense of unknowing is also reflected in the idea of not being able to go back to before, but reassuring listeners that tomorrow will bring even more. Nizharadze encourages listeners to shine, like the stars in the sky – an exhortation to stand tall, to value oneself and to let one's own love shine bright.
The repeated metaphor of the tide turning is a nod to the cyclical nature of life – that even if things seem cold or tough now, they won't remain that way forever. Toward the end, Nizharadze acknowledges that nothing is ever truly set in stone, but reminds listeners to take heart and hold on to their own love, even as time moves forward.
Taking a look at the song's melody and instrumental composition, the track begins with a soft and pensive guitar riff, which gradually expands into a more expansive, uplifting melody that notably features sweeping strings and a propulsive drumbeat, which aids the track's forward momentum. Throughout the song, Nizharadze's soaring vocal performance contributes to the track's emotional impact.

To be 1st, 2nd or the last isn't important. If someone suddenly remember your performance and listen (even after 10 years), this is the most important thing ❤🇦🇿🇬🇪

She PERFORMED this so well. Emphasis on the performance. She managed to hold vocal, even with the choreography. And on a ballad, too. IMO should've contested for the win.
