Aberration
Solstice Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Solace extinguished by the horror of existance
Problems upsurge from
Which there seems no escape
In this senseless world
Solutions seem unattainable
Negativity begins to overcome
How much pain can I possibly
Bare with such a young soul?
Anger increases, morality decreases
I tap my darker psyche...
From the time I departed my troubles
To the time we meet again
Anger has been blotted out by pain...
How much pain can I possibly
Bare with such a young soul?
Anger increases, morality decreases
I tap my darker psyche...
Into the depths of my depravity
Surfacing into your world obsessed with hate
Disturbed, no longer knowing right from wrong
Terminate, my patience reached it′s end...
From the time I departed my troubles
To the time we meet again
Anger has been blotted out by pain...
How much pain can I possibly bare with such a young
Soul?
Plummeting into the depths of depravity
Surfacing into your world obsessed with hate
From the time I departed my troubles
To the time we meet again
Anger has been blotted out by pain...
The lyrics to Solstice's song Aberration convey a sense of despair and hopelessness. The opening lines speak of the horror of existence and how it can extinguish one's sense of solace. The problems in life seem to surge uncontrollably without any escape. The singer feels overwhelmed and unable to find solutions in this senseless world. Negativity begins to take over, and the thoughts become irrational.
As the song progresses, the singer questions how much pain they can possibly bear. They feel anger increasing while morality decreases, leading them to tap into their darker psyche. The refrain speaks of departing from troubles, but the pain remains, blotted out by anger. They feel themselves plummeting into the depths of depravity, even disturbing their moral compass to some extent. In the end, they terminate, unable to bear the pain and hatred that obsesses their mind.
The song resonates with those who feel trapped, overwhelmed by the problems of life and unable to find solutions. It speaks to those who feel anger and darkness creeping into their thoughts and emotions. The lyrics are a powerful reminder that pain can have a profound impact on one's psyche and that it's essential to find solace and positive solutions to avoid falling into the depths of despair.
