Her next big single "Glisten" was used in a make-up commercial for Menard products, and did fairly well in the Japanese market. The Japanese lyrics of Sowelu's song Last Forever express feelings of persistence, hope, and freedom. The singer is calling on the wind to carry their message of perseverance to their loved one, regardless of how far away they may be. They describe a moment in time when they rush past all their worries and fears and instead focus on pursuing their dreams. The words paint an image of a city where the streets are lined with blooming flowers, and the waves gently lap against the shore. All the while, the stars twinkle brightly in the night sky above.
The singer acknowledges that their path may be incomplete or unfinished, but they remain steadfast in their beliefs and continue to dance freely in the wind. They create maps of uncertainty, energized by the idea that everything is going to last forever. The song encourages the listener to let go of their worries and to always believe in themselves. Ultimately, the singer wants their words to reach their intended recipient, hoping they can share in the freedom that comes from chasing a dream.
