1. Stephanie Davis, aged 17 from Liverpool, is a singer and contestant on the BBC Talent Show Over The Rainbow.
Liverpool girl Stephanie lives with her parents and two younger brothers - she thinks her family are like the Von Trapps! She has appeared on numerous TV shows including Doctors, Holby City, Parents of the Band and The Outsiders, as well as numerous commercials, but her ultimate dream is to be a West End star.
She started singing at the age of six, and describes her voice as versatile. She has enjoyed several lead roles, in productions of Annie, as Gretel in The Sound of Music, Anna in Santa Clause The Musical, and Little Nell in Her Benny, all at the Liverpool Empire Theatre.
One of Stephanie's biggest regrets was not paying more attention in Maths at school... she was far too busy tapping her feet under the desk, and was once even so overcome with the urge to get up and sing at school - she did just that! She performed an impromptu rendition of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" in the middle of English class. She thinks this vibrancy will lend itself well to the role of Dorothy.
2. Stephanie Davis is a Montana cowboy poet and singer/songwriter. She has written songs recorded by Garth Brooks and others. She has also recorded five solo albums.
Lights Out

Turn the key
There's nothing left
Here for me
Staring in
To the abyss
It's scaring me
When the light's gone out
(Someone's flicked off the switch)
When the pain's too much
(I can't live like this)
When the sun comes up
(Help me get through this)
So done with the fighting
And the hiding
Need air, can't breathe
(I feel under attack)
Lord help me please
(Begging on my knees)
When the sun comes up
(Help me get through this)
So done with the fighting
When the lights go out
I can't see
The truth unfold
All I once knew is lost
Silence
I isolate
Feel my heart break
What is my fate?
Do I take the easy way out?
Or fight all through this doubt
When the light's gone out
(Someone's flicked off the switch)
When the pain istoo much
(I can't live like this)
When the sun comes up
(Help me get through this)
So done with the fighting
And the hiding
Need air, can't breathe
(I feel under attack)
Lord help me please
(Begging on my knees)
When the sun comes up
(Help me get through this)
So done with the fighting
And the hiding
Stand up, you'll get through this
Stand up, you'll get through this
Stand up, you'll get through this
Stand up, you'll get through this
Take the easy way out
Or fight all through this doubt
When the lights go out
The lyrics of Stephanie Davis's song Lights Out describe a sense of hopelessness and feeling lost. It starts with a sense of finality, as the singer closes the door and turns the key, indicating that they may be leaving a place they have called home, perhaps for a long time. They express their fear and despair as they stare into an abyss, a symbol of the unknown and/or death. The singer cannot see the truth and feels isolated and broken-hearted. They question whether they should "take the easy way out" or "fight all through this doubt." Despite feeling under attack, they plead with the Lord to help them, indicating that they still have some glimmer of hope that life will get better. This hope intensifies as they ask for help to get through the pain and fighting and express their desire to stand up and get through this difficult time.
The song's lyrics clearly depict the challenges and complexities of mental health issues. The idea that the lights have gone out and one is left in darkness is a metaphor for depression and hopelessness. The pain that the singer feels may represent the emotional turmoil accompanied by anxiety and the feeling that things are spiraling out of control. The idea of fighting and hiding could represent the struggles that are present with mental health illness where individuals feel the need to hide their condition and emotions. However, there is a glimmer of hope present in the lyrics, creating a sense of optimism that indicates that a bright day will occur.

This is amazing Stephanie.
I have signed your petition for the carolines law campaign.
This campaign is dear to my heart as I have also lost a friend through suicide.
The government and the media are not doing enough and I hope that this campaign becomes law
We are all proud of you x

This song is fantastic. As someone who has also been in that dark place in the past, and has also attempted to end it all I can really relate. After hearing the news of Caroline's death I have been feeling down. Probably due to the fact it was such a shock and the fact I can understand how she must have been feeling.
Rest in peace caroline โคโค
