This song never got a US release here, because it was only released in Brazil in 1979 on the Kalinda label, but several of the major labels in the US tried to picked up the song, but it turned it down. This song never played on New York City radio like WKTU and WBLS, but if they did, it should’ve been a New York dance classic.

@ immer noch der oberhammertrack no. 1 des jahrtausends für mich : Bernd Maruo (d'town, etc.) ist der einzige dee jay, den ich kenne, der ihn auf scheibe hat, zuletzt auf der "PONG 2021" gedreht ! the first edition of this rare reggae disco tune (1979, b-side is also okay) of from Stephen Encinas, with an ahsummm strange, steelpan-Morodor'ish arpeggiator sound and cool voice, with someone named "Wendy Eligon" -?- backed by "Andy, Judy, Kenny and Wendy", produced at some small studio on Trinidad/Tonago, which also does suddenly include one strange, egyptian atmospheric, psychedelic momentum, almost at 80% of it hatte - according to "bandcamp" - angeblich nur 18 pressungen !! frankie bones hat ihn mal als rauschschmeisser aufgelegt, chrispop needed a while, to understand it, the rest completely does ignore it. Mittlerweile habe ich noch einen längeren edit by Jerry Swenfield davon gefunden - kam 2013 erneut raus -

MOST of this song, reminds me of the very weird, sometimes horrifyingly weird, French sci-fi animated movie 'Fantastic Planet'. The weirdness of the song, has me dislike it faster, if the song was less weird, I might like it longer.
