Jo-Ann Greene writes about "Mind Control" AllMusic.com: "Stephen has continued to grow, adding new sounds and styles to his repertoire over the years. A conduit to the past and a bridge to the future, his music -- like his father's -- sounds timeless: reggae that embraces the world."
2004 he started the 27-city Bob Marley Roots, Rock, Reggae Festival tour with his four brothers and sons of Bob โ Ziggy, Julian, Damian and Ky-Mani โ each of whom have their own professional recording careers. The tour was the first time the brothers have officially performed together on stage.
Every February in Miami, Marley and his brothers perform at his family's annual Caribbean Festival in honour of their late father Bob Marley.

The miracles of life surround us everyday
And in the simple things is where they love to play
Now look around and tell me what do you see? (Look around, look around, look around)
The tiniest thing became a giant tree (a giant tree)
Give I the rain, give I the sun, give I the moon the holy one
Oh, oh, oh, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one, reap many
Oh, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one and reap many, yeah
Oh, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one and reap many
Give I the lizard, give I the worms, give I the bees, give I the birds
A ladybug, the bees will do this, so much good that they will do, yeah
Oh, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one, reap many, yeah
Yeah, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one and reap many, yeah
Oh, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one and reap many
'Cause the miracles of life surround us everyday (everyday)
And in the simple things is where they love to play (love to play)
Now look around and tell me what do you see? (Look around, look around, look around)
The tiniest thing became a giant tree (a giant tree)
Give I the earth, give I the dirt, let's plant a seed and watch it grow
Give I the earth, give I the dirt, let's watch the vegetables grow, yeah, yeah
Oh, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one, reap many
Yeah, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one and reap many
Yes, what a joy it is (oh, what a joy it is)
To plant one and reap many
The miracles of life surround us everyday (everyday)
And in the simple things is where they love to play (love to play)
So look around (look around, look around, look around)
Look up and down and tell me what did you see?
'Cause you're a miracle to me
"The Garden Song of Miracles" by Stephen Marley celebrates the wonders of life and nature that exist all around us. The song invites listeners to appreciate the everyday miracles that can be found in even the simplest things. Marley encourages us to observe and contemplate our surroundings, asking us to look around and identify the beauty and magic that exists.
The lyrics highlight the transformative power of nature and its ability to turn something as small as a seed into a mighty tree. This concept serves as a metaphor for the potential within each of us to grow and flourish. It implies that even our smallest actions can have far-reaching and significant impacts. By acknowledging and trusting in the miracles of life, we can plant the seeds of positive change and see the benefits multiply.
Marley also emphasizes the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of respecting and nurturing the natural world. He mentions various creatures like lizards, worms, bees, birds, and ladybugs, highlighting their contributions to the ecosystem and the good they bring. This recognition of the value of all life forms encourages listeners to appreciate and protect the delicate balance of nature.
Ultimately, the song suggests that we ourselves are miracles in this grand tapestry of life. By recognizing the miracles around us, we can also recognize our own unique value and purpose. Marley invites listeners to embrace the joy of planting the seeds of positive change and witnessing the abundant harvest that follows. In doing so, we not only contribute to the miracles of life but become miracles ourselves, capable of making a profound impact on the world.
