The last part of my life was rough and painful, almost like the end of a movie, and it felt all too real.

I'm not sure if I'm going through this because of my own mistakes or if it's just God trying to toughen me up.

Maybe the reason for all this suffering is that God is trying to shape us into better people, and we need to trust Him throughout the process.

Even when things get better, we still need to remember that God is in control.

Life keeps getting harder every day, and on top of that, my car broke down.

To add to my problems, our landlord is kicking us out and we have to move in with a friend.

The cribs a block away from K and A, it's rocky in this day and age
The apartment we're moving into is in a rough part of town, and things are tough for everyone these days.

There's gotta be a way to make a dollar into daily wage
I need to find a way to make more money to survive.

Fiancé is killin' me and callin' me and givin' me
My fiance is stressing me out by constantly calling and arguing with me.

The long and angry fifth degree and honestly it sickens me
The constant questioning and accusing is taking a toll on my mental health.

She wants to push the wedding back, we argue plus I'm getting mad
On top of everything else, my fiance wants to postpone our wedding and we're fighting about it.

To make matters worse, she's on the other side of the country at college and doesn't even know what's going on in Philly.

She doesn't understand what I'm going through, and I worry that she'll leave me because of it.

She's so disgusted over bills, the phone's the one we both can feel
Money problems are putting a strain on our relationship, and it's affecting our communication.

Eventually, she breaks up with me, but even though it hurts, I still believe that God is providing for me and giving me reasons to be grateful.

Even though I'm strugglin' my stomach isn't grumblin'
Despite all my hardships, I'm still grateful that I have enough to eat and I'm not starving.

As much as what it could've been considerin' the months that went
Things could be a lot worse, considering how long I've been struggling.

Christ control is true you know, my life is shown to prove it so
I truly believe that Jesus is in control of my life, and my experiences are proof of that.

Thankfully, God answers my prayers and I find a new job with steady hours and benefits.

Through my experiences, I believe God is showing us His purpose and purifying us for something greater.

I know sometimes it hurts to us, but over time it's worth it bruh
Although it hurts at the time, the trials we face are worth it in the end.

God will test us and refine us through difficult times, and that's how we become better Christians.
