Sebuah duo electro pop asal Jakarta berdiri pada awal 2006 yang terdiri dari aroel (planetbumi) dan maria (klarinet). Pada akhir tahun 2006 mereka merilis album self-titled dibawah bendera aksara records.
Sempat tidak aktif selama beberapa bulan belakangan, karena saat ini mereka sedang menyiapkan studio album kedua yang akan diberi judul ācyber superstarā. Recording, Mixing dan Mastering telah selesai, hingga saat ini proses pembuatan album kedua mereka sedang memasuki tahap design dan penggandaan.
Pemilihan judul album ini bukan tanpa alasan. Fenomena youtube sebagai salah satu media yang sanggup menjadikan orang biasa menjadi superstar di jagad maya (cyber superstar) dan kebutuhan mendasar manusia atas pengakuan jati diri di lingkungan sosial tempat ia berinteraksi, menjadi alasan utama tema ini dipilih.
Agar cover yang dirilis sejalan dengan tema yang diusung sekaligus memiliki ikatan emosional dengan pendengarnya, maka stereomantic akan membuat cover berupa kolase foto-foto pendengarnya yang bergaya di depan webcam a la āyoutube superstarā dan meminta mereka mengirimkan foto tersebut, tanpa proses seleksi (selain seleksi SARA dan PORNOGRAFI), sebagai bagian dari cover stereomantic.
Sempat tidak aktif selama beberapa bulan belakangan, karena saat ini mereka sedang menyiapkan studio album kedua yang akan diberi judul ācyber superstarā. Recording, Mixing dan Mastering telah selesai, hingga saat ini proses pembuatan album kedua mereka sedang memasuki tahap design dan penggandaan.

For foreign people who love this song but doesnt understand the lyric. This song was story about an old man who drive a hired cab, as he witness many different passenger. Some are happy, some are busy, while others sad. As he took a time to rest, he was reminded of his dead wife and their marriage anniversary. At the end of scene, his daughter took him to a cafe to celebrate it with his dead wife's photo, and that conclude the story of that man who remain faithful to his wife even after her death, like the songs real meaning. Akad (wedding promise) from the day they fell in love, till both of them depart this world. š
