Stevan Faddy claims to have Scottish origin. He has claimed that he is descended from William Faddy, who came to Montenegro, at that time known as Zeta, during the Crusades with King Richard I of England and decided to stay after falling in love with a local girl.
By winning at the music competition “Intro Karaoke” in 2003, he earned the right to participate at the music festival “Sunčane Skale” in Herceg Novi where he finished at the high second place with the song “Posljednja obala”. The same year he received music award “Montefon” as the “breakthrough of the year”.
He already participated two times at the national competition for the Eurovision Song Contest. First time in 2005, when he finished at the second place in Montevizija 2005 and at the fourth place in Europjesma with the song "Utjeha", and the second time in 2006, when his song "Cipele" won Montevizija 2006 and finished third at Evropesma.
At the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, he sang "Ajde, Kroči", composed by Slaven Knezović and written by Milan Perić. It failed to reach the final.

Ti si meni zapala za oči
Čija si lijepa đevojko?
Poljubiću tvoje crno oko
Čija si lijepa đevojko?
Poljubiću tvoje crno oko
O, kad iz tvog oka budi se zora
Ljubavi
'Ajde kroči, kroči i poskoči
Ti si meni zapala za oči
'Ajde kroči, kroči i poskoči
Da ih je sedam nikome te ne dam
Poljubi me, lijepa đevojko
Da poletim kao sivi soko
Poljubi me, lijepa đevojko
Poletjeću kao sivi soko
O, kako si lijepa kao sva mora
O, kad iz tvog oka budi se zora
Ljubavi
'Ajde kroči, kroči i poskoči
Ti si meni zapala za oči
'Ajde kroči, kroči i poskoči
Da ih je sedam nikome te ne dam
'Ajde kroči (Kroči i poskoči)
Ti si meni (zapala za oči)
'Ajde kroči, kroči i poskoči
Ti si meni zapala za oči
'Ajde kroči, kroči i poskoči
Da ih je sedam nikome te ne dam

I have loved this song since i first heard it in 2007!

Underrated, daring and a quite good debut from Montenegro! ironically a year after voting for independence from Serbia they missed out winning ESC, if you look at the semifinal scoreboard that year you'll see this song scored points from only ex-Yugoslav countries and also Albania, proves that languages and cultures are most common cause for bloc voting.
