Stock Aitken Waterman - Roadblock
Well here was a catchy little ditty which I rather liked.
It was something new from a trio of guys which I thought might end up being the eighties version of 10cc.
Oh how wrong I was.
Little did I know what these guys had in store for the future of the music industry.
@NPGLAMB
Wish they were bigger producers here in America , but their sound is very European. They had about 4 hits here. Iβm glad I have the internet to discover all this great music
@teckzilla108
I use to watch this every single day as a kid. My folks had it on tape. Good times
@ajs41
I wouldn't describe their sound as European. It's British. Actually slightly more American than European in my opinion.
@SSS.1984
This song sounds extremely American LOL
@nouveauj.9388
In the worldwide hits by Mel & Kim, Rick Astley, Dead Or Alive and more, as producers they created a real extra european sound more near to America... thanks to this trio, the second half of the 1980's made a fresh sound (still modern today) for discos and clubs specially in the U.S. at the time. CLUB MTV based in New York used to play lots of times their hits.
