Two months later, they quickly recorded a 7-song demo and did a short tour--neither of which anybody seemed to notice. They continued to do that sort of thing for quite some time, playing sloppily with shitty equipment and alienating many people along the way. In an effort to try and squash crowd expectations, they worked hard and saved up for better equipment and practiced more often. This occured sometime around the release of their full-length record "Self Made Maps," (Robotic Empire/Perpetual Motion Machine). The band has trouble taking themselves seriously, enjoys karaoke and 20 questions. The band broke up in 2004 after a 6 week European tour.
