Creature from another world
Woman unreal not need my love
The pain satisfies
Satisfies
Close to me
Do you feel me?
Do you hate me?
Closeto me
Do you feel me?
Remember you kill me
You are my reality
Creature from another world
Woman unreal not need my love
The pain satisfies you
You are my sadly destruction
Massive of my soul
Woman dominant
Not need the smiles
The pain you satisfies
The pain you satisfies
Close to me
Do you feel me?
You crying
Do you hate me?
Closeto me
Do you feel me?
Remember
You kill me
Close to me
Do you feel me?
You crying
Do you hate me?
Close to me
Do you feel me?
You crying
Do you hate me?
Closeto me
Do you feel me?
Remember
You kill me
Remember
The lyrics of Subliminal Code's song Close to Me seem to describe a complex and tumultuous relationship between the singer and someone who is "a creature from another world" and "not need[s] [the singer's] love." The singer seems to be experiencing a painful and destructive connection with this person, whose satisfaction seems to come from the pain they both experience. The repetitive refrain of "Close to me, do you feel me?" creates a sense of intimacy and longing, while the question "Do you hate me?" suggests a deep insecurity and questioning of the other person's feelings towards the singer. The final line, "Remember you kill me," could be interpreted as both a realization of the destructive nature of the relationship and a plea for the other person to remember the intensity of their connection.
The lyrics also seem to touch on themes of dominance and submission, with the woman in the relationship being described as "woman dominant" and "massive of [the singer's] soul." These power dynamics could be contributing to the pain and destruction that the singer is experiencing, and the line "not need the smiles" suggests that the woman in question may be using her power to further manipulate and hurt the singer. Overall, the lyrics of Close to Me paint a vivid picture of a complicated and painful relationship that is rife with emotional turmoil.
