I love Superchick and this song is kinda a different style for them. I love it, but just imagine how hard it would rock if the chorus vocals were better. I'm not saying she's a bad singer, she's great. It's just that the chorus vocals totally don't fit the Marylin Manson inspired music behind them. This song could have rocked so much harder.

There's something about Christian Rock that doesn't exactly scream "WE'RE ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT!" to me. You are the majority religion in the US and Europe. You wear your holy symbols openly, you are respected for going to church on sundays. Those of us in minority religions, or those who do not practice any religion at all, are often the ones seen as crazy by our peers. Good song, but the message falls flat.

YOOOOOO, MY GRANDMA NEVER APOLOGIZES!! 😅 That's too funny. She never admits to even being wrong much less apologize for it! And ik it's only because not only did I go back to point out calmly that I asked her if she needed help and was rude about it even as well as told me no, but she fkkn LOST it and flew off the handle when I gave her the truth she didn't wanna hear knowing it was wrong. and 5hrs later I made them dinner knowing she can barely walk and would allow her pride to make her eat crap instead of ask me for help. I did it anyway even though she didnt deserve it behaving that way. But I remember all she has done, to not retaliate or condition the love and care she needs most right now. I am now teaching my family my value by making them appreciating what I do and give to them freely even when they behave poorly cuz they dont see the bigger picture until I'm not there or realize they need what I am only able to give them because of who i am. NOT what i do or dont have. And it made my grandma apologize seeing my worth when I still gave them my time and attention no else could because they had their own lives to worry about.
I wanted to update later being lazy but it wouldn't save the message I left. So I was like really? Why. Why tho. Lmao. So when I took it off mine and it saved IMMEDIATELY when it wouldn't save with it that's how I knew He was correcting my direction because I went to save the SAME message to yours and had NO problem. However mine was not saving it no matter how many times I restarted the app until I removed the message to update mine still and just save YOURS for when the time was right. that's how ik I'm going in the right direction with guidance that keeps me from going in the wrong direction. Lol. Its been something I had to be open to believing just so I could figure out the pattern and what these "setbacks" actually meant. So yea, I think I'm good on external validation of any kind. I did what they couldn't and still struggle being everything they didnt want me to be while also being every they never asked me to be but only did so on my own. I dont need their validation nkr support to be happy. I learned how to create happiness without having a shit and that just makes me happy to not be like the people who never taught by example. Lmao. Crazy, right? xD

Superchick is a christian band, who made a song similiar to marylin mansons' "the beautiful people". Basically, she is saying that most people think God believers/christians are crazy but she says not to give in just becuase people think your crazy, and this song is for those Christians
