Read Full Bio ↴Superchick consists of: Tricia, Melissa, Matt, Dave, Max and Clayton.
Superchick got their first break opening for Audio Adrenaline in 1999.
In 2000, the band self-released their first album, Karaoke Superstars, which was later re-released once they were signed to Inpop Records. Having had songs appear in Legally Blonde, Cadet Kelly and on several television shows including the Real World and the X-Games, Superchick is one of the most played garage bands.
The band's line-up has changed over the years. In the beginning, there were eight members, including crew. Members credited for Karaoke Superstars were sisters Tricia [lead vocals] and Melissa [guitar, vocals] Brock, brothers Matt [bass] and Ben [drums] Dally, Dave [lead guitar, keys] Ghazarian, Andrew [percussion] Vegas, Dan [lighting, pyro] Larson, and Max [keys, guitar, turntables] Hsu.
With the release of their second album, Last One Picked, the line-up listed Tricia, Melissa, Matt, and Max with the addition of Justin [lead guitar] Sharbaro and Brian [drums] Fitch. Their remix album, Regeneration, marked the return of Dave, with Tricia, Melissa, Matt, and Max returning. The release of Beauty from Pain brought with it the band's current incarnation with the addition of Brandon Estelle on drums. Recently, Clayton [drums] Hunt, formerly of Christian rock band Dizmas, joined the group in replacement of Brandon.
After releasing four albums through Inpop, Superchick signed a deal with Columbia Records to re-release "Beauty from Pain" through the larger label.

Destroyin' my dreams
Hauntin' to myself
What regret keeps hunting
But can I change my ways
Of counting the days
That keep on fadin' away
I keep losing today
And the hourglass falls
Will I have more than regret to show for it all
Or will I wake up and start living my dreams
Instead of lettin' this nightmare take control of me
Live today through the future's lens
Don't wanna wish you could rewind and play it again
Stand up write the soundtrack for your life
It doesn't happen to you,you happen to life
Stand up, do somthing with your light
It doesn't happen to you, you happen to life
You're bored, gotta wonder if there's more
Waiting for the dream life you thought you had in store.
Trying to feel something you can chase a life that's thrilla
Living on the edge smoking drinking dream killas.
Couldabeen shouldabeen woulda been..
what might your life have been
Today you're not a has-been, but at your life's end
will you have regrets than, have regrets than?
Are you ok with today if tomorrow is the end
Live today through the future's lens
Don't wanna wish you could rewind and play it again
Stand up write the soundtrack for your life
It doesn't happen to you, you happen to life
Stand up, do somthing with your light
It doesn't happen to you, you happen to life
We're all scared, gotta wonder whats out there,
Shooting down the ones who did what we wish we dared
Everybody's scared to Karaoke in the open
Afraid we're not as special as what we might be hoping so we're frozen haven't chosen
just going through the motions
Faith and belief, courage overrule emotions
Stand up and be counted for something when it's time
Decide where you stand, take your hands raise em high
Live today through the futures lens
Don't wanna wish you could reset and play it again
Stand up write the soundtrack for your life
It doesn't happen to you,you happen to life
Stand up, do somthing with your light
It doesn't happen to you, you happen to life
Superchick's song "Stand Up" encourages listeners to take control of their lives and make the most out of each day. The first verse describes the feeling of being trapped in a nightmare and regretting past decisions. The lyrics ask if it's possible to change our ways and start living our dreams instead of letting our fears control us. The song encourages listeners to view their lives from a future perspective and make the most out of each day, rather than regretting past mistakes.
The chorus tells listeners to "Stand Up" and write the soundtrack for their lives. The song suggests that life doesn't happen to us; we happen to life. The second verse encourages listeners to not settle for a life of boredom and to chase their dreams. The song suggests that living on the edge with drugs and alcohol only kills our dreams.
The final verse suggests that everyone is scared to take risks and be vulnerable, but we must have faith and courage to stand up and make a difference. The song ends with a call to action to not simply go through the motions of life but to take a stand and make a difference.
