Am I the only one who thinks that there should be a Netflix Special on the history of this television series one day? It should definitely happen! I would want to watch it in a second! This has been a very successful TV Series over a span of 23 years, and the fact that Jeff Probst (along with his popularity) is still hosting this show is the living proof that this series has been successful, and is still running to this day!

I can still remember watching the very first season of survivor like it was yesterday, and I still remember how so many people were tuned into it! I can remember the first three seasons being viewed by so many people. Although the story doesn't really change in Survivor, the settings, situations, and people do, and that's what keeps it going!

yeah Australian Survivor took the best parts of american survivor and have perfected it in basically every way. I have watched since I was seven and will always be a fan but something changed with survivor around season 35 where they just wanted to move in a more happy go lucky motion which is what has lost its flavour for me. I dreamed of playing one day and was so excited when Canadians could apply and I even did....but now...i'd rather play the game i grew up loving and that just isn't american survivor anymore...it is australian survivor.

I love survivor obviously and I’ve watched every season and wanna play someday the new era has started off slow I wish we could have 39 days and themes and places other than Fiji and a reunion show and the votes 3 months later but they are saving budget hopefully it gradually gets better I won’t lie im a fan and enjoy the game the first 4 newer seasons haven’t been bad and the winners have been good but more centered around their social games I am excited for season 48 because it is highly confirmed by YouTuber’s connected to survivor and leaks and information as well as the show to be a returnee season since Jeff says it’s new era it’s going to be like season 8 so season 48 will be all stars since you can’t register or apply to survivor 48 so that means all stars 2 will have players from mostly seasons in the 30’s and the new era 40’s so players like maybe Dominick Rick Devens Jonathan Jesse as well as other players maybe even further back or sooner as well as probably the winners of the new seasons

Brian in Thailand followed by Rob in Amazon then Rubert in Pearl Islands then Boston Rob and Rubert in All Stars then Chris in Vanuata -----that for me is what survivor was and always will be (plus a few other key players and seasons like hatch and hanzt and tony did a great job on 40 but he had many key friends in the game outside of the game which got him over the line)

@@wasteoftimehere I’m 17 so I wasn’t even born but yeah I’ve watched every season and every episode and I know every winner rob is definitely one of the best players of all time Russell hantz shouldve one once or twice even though he was cutthroat survivor has always been a game of surviving but also being deceitful and lying it’s just apart of the game obviously his jury management was terrible but he still deserved the win over both finalists in both seasons he had insane edits but that’s because he is an amazing player that gets to the end and changed the game and created the main villains and tony has to be the goat he played the perfect game but if Sarah wasn’t in winners at war tony doesn’t win she helped keep him in check like trisch but still tony is so good I think top 10 players in any order has to be russell Boston Rob tony dom Rick devens Sandra Parvati cirie ozzy and Tyson I’m bias towards more exciting winners but I think almost every winner deserves to win hopefully they start casting more villains again and have an all stars 2 season soon

5 months ago, we finished the atrocious season 43 and watched the 44 trailer. 5 months later, it just finishing airing and im confident to say its one of the best seasons of the new era. the trailer lived up to its hype an expectation, and featured some incredible cast members.

from this, i can see nothing special. simple, nothing pops from the cast members, no reoccuring special theme, nothing that hooks you straight away. hope that this is another incredible season in september. prove me wrong, 45.

I hope they remembered they are producing a TV show that’s supposed to be entertaining when they cast this year. The last two seasons have had the most boring characters of any season. The cast of characters are so boring last year that the show essentially became the Carolyn and Yam Yam show. I literally can’t even remember the names of the match the rest of the characters, except for maybe Heidi and I had to think about that. I don’t care what these people do. I don’t care where they’re from. I don’t care what they’re ethnicity is. I just need them to be entertaining. We need more Boston, rob send Brussels, Jeremy’s, Ceri’s, Sandrise, Fabio’s, etc.

If they're sticking to the trend I noticed from 43 and 44's First Look trailers the black lady that was a marine is gonna be the winner, Yam Yam and Gabler were both the closers for their trailers, could just be a coincidence though given 41 and 42 didn't have that trend, will be interesting to see if I end up right or overthinking it 😂

Is it me or does Survivor gets more boring as the seasons roll on? I used to love to watch it, to love some characters and hate others. The last season - 44 - was one of the worst I've ever watched. I didn't like one person. Some were more likable, sure, but it was just too bland. Also, I remember thinking someone like Ozzy would've kicked everybody's asses in challenges if he were to play today. I get the diversity shit, the "let's get more ordinary people in". I don't want just perfect bodies thrown in for the sake of good TV, but come on... Survivor Australia is more fun and has been more fun for a few years now.

The main component of the show is missing. CASTING. We will never get a good cast back because the show has diversity in race but not in personality. I haven’t been entertained with any season after 40 tbh. I just waited until the season was over and binged over a few days. I still watch the show but I feel extremely underwhelmed after every season. It’s like I remember the good times so I have been sticking around. I’ll admit I keep getting pulled back in but I regret it after 😂

I love seeing people from diverse backgrounds on the show BUT it's clear that casting has gone TOO WOKE.. Survivor's viewership is 83% white, and Jeff has said that the vast majority of people that apply to the show are white (which is why they've had to rely on recruiting to get some diversity in the past), so how does it make sense to say that AT LEAST HALF the cast CANNOT be white (as CBS's new diversity pledge says)? It hurts casting and prevents good candidates from being on the show. Would Survivor legends like Richard Hatch, Rudy, Colby, Rupert, JT, Russell, or even Tony get cast in today's era? No, they would be cut for someone with nerdy glasses or a different skin tone

I haven't watched Survivor since Boston Rob was on it. I've been waiting 3 weeks for the premiere, my wife and I wanted to make it a point to sit down and watch the show every week, kinda quiet, family time that we never get these days. Wow, what a disappointment. We didn't make it 10 minutes before we turned it off. It's nothing like the old Survivor. It's filled with a bunch of weak, whining, woke, entitled babies. Never again.

Jeff decided to stay in fiji since 34. It's because of the good weather, government relations to production is great, the taxes, it's cheaper to stay in one area due to the established relationship with the locals. I don't like it either but it makes sense for them logistic wise.

I know i ask this on youtube or Facebook but always hoping the answers get change or people feel like i do . Why do they pick a winner out or three or four people . And not enough jury members. Where in the beginning for so so long they pick a winner out of two people weather enough jury members or not . And why is it sometimes they do family or letters or auction other times not . Or have a seaon where there be like 20 people but camps oe teams of two or just three people . Sometimes i think to go on this show but with my medical issues and me being picky to eat and never learnint to keep my mouth shut would not make it past the first day
