Affaire a suivre … Un second album est déjà en préparation
Paradox
Swift Guad Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
My enemies hallucinating
Wake up see me in the dark
Feel the flame tails waiting
The kings have dreams
Cowards have nightmares
No matter what you run to I
Promise you I'm right there
But don't compare me, or
4-5 between your eyes is most scary
Sip a whole fifth my mind drift
Fl-flee-fo'-free i make my rhymes slick
J'suis officiel depuis mon
Premier Tommy Hilfinger
C'est l'homicide tri-meur
Bientôt mon son dans la surprise-kinder
Call it California love, that's how we do
You, your man and you motherfucking vehicle
On t'attrape à la gorge et on
Lâche pas prise comme des pitbulls
Call it California love, that's how we do
You, your man and you motherfucking vehicle
On t'attrape à la gorge et on
Lâche pas prise comme des pitbulls
My rhyme written
Sick like the tip of a junkie needle
Pop'en up like hands full of uK
Mimic a lyrics no matter I can see you fake
Step in, I can chew the best rapper like
You, your man and you motherfucking vehicle
Welcome to RGF!
In the first verse of "Paradox," Swift Guad starts off by expressing his indifference to the haters, saying that they are hallucinating, while he proudly wears his Gucci hat. He talks about how he is always present, even in the darkest moments, and that those who try to escape him will never succeed. He compares himself to the legendary rapper Makaveli (Tupac Shakur) and his song "Hail Mary," but asserts that he cannot be compared to anyone. Swift Guad also mentions the fear that comes with facing a 45-caliber gun between the eyes.
Swift Guad then switches to French lyrics, mentioning his slick rhymes and his ability to adapt them to the streets. He talks about being a nuisance and a victimizer, showing a strong dedication to his craft. He proudly states that he does not have the greed of Dick Rivers, a French singer known for his excessive lifestyle, but instead focuses on redirecting money rather than exploiting underage women. Swift Guad uses Tommy Hilfinger, a well-known fashion brand, as a point of reference for his official status, emphasizing the impact his music has had. He concludes this part by mentioning his upcoming release, indicating that his song will surprise his listeners.
The chorus of the song reflects Swift Guad's pride in his lifestyle and attitude. He references "California love," a term associated with the West Coast rap scene, and how they live in the paradox of the matrix, implying that they have become accustomed to this contradictory existence. He describes catching someone by the throat and refusing to let go, comparing themselves to relentless pitbulls.
In the final verse, Swift Guad boasts about his lyrical skills, comparing them to the sickening tip of a junkie's needle. He mentions popping up like hands full of UK slang, indicating that he can imitate various styles effortlessly. He challenges any rapper to step up, asserting that he can outperform them. Swift Guad continues to emphasize their relentless nature when they catch someone and refuse to let go, as if chasing someone who is on the run for drug possession. He mentions burning a tire in the worst-case scenario but using a credit card for luxury items. Swift Guad relates to the misfortunate individuals who are trapped in complicated situations and have to struggle with their mental state. He assures them that he is the ace of hearts, and despite their hardships, they will find warmth and an end to their suffering, almost sarcastically suggesting that someone might be counting their days until they meet their demise.
In the final lines, Swift Guad invites others to share the lyrics of the song, specifically mentioning Bishop Lamont's rap, showing support for fellow artists and welcoming collaboration within the rap community. He concludes with a welcome message to RGF, potentially referring to a rap group or collective.
