I think both were correct.
However in relation to time frames of use - both could be incorrect too.

If you use MDMA once and don't take extraordinary amounts on comparison to your body size etc (basically taking a small recreational amount) it does indeed - in general - have a euphoria to it, the increased empathy etc.
It was previously used as a tool to help with a marriage councillor for couples having trouble communicating and wanting help to understand each other - with a lot of promise and positive outcomes before it was deemed as illegal for even medical uses.

On the other hand - if you take large amounts, take it for elongated periods of time, stay awake for too long whilst using it, fail to eat or drink water in your normal manner etc... You can suffer irritation, frustration, paranoia etc.

These two statements do not have to agree in order to be correct, but they do have to have relevance to the situation and the manner in which these drugs were consumed/how long for/size of the person that has consumed it/other lifestyle issues causes by prolonged use ...

I honestly see both sides of this and do not believe it was a very relevant part of this case tbh.

The fact he pushed him is a fair point.

Wether or not he had something before that does not give him super human strength, nor does it change what the outcome was.

The push was the only thing that would have been the questionable part - the drug didn't push Michael.

I don't think him pushing Michael deserved the response he got at all either.

I'm just saying... The point about the MDMA was kind of moot.

This guy is an embarrassing case. He wished he was a cop SO bad. His sense of self importance is SO recklessly high that he never stopped to realize he was burying himself in the interrogation, because he was too focused on using police jargon and trying to look like one of them. Wildly dangerous combination of arrogance and stupidity.

Seppo Matikanope

It's really a relief he didn't become an officer before having this inevitable power trip, he could be back out there already looking to get into "combat" again

ReadIlium

Yea the municipalities stupid enough to hire him would pay millions in lawsuits and stick him back out there after some paid leave

Slychosis

Alot of these type of guys do become cops and do the exact same thing and go on doing it with no repercussions and sometimes praised from other dim whitted ociffers.

Heather Holt

@Slychosis yeah sadly that’s the case too often

Patrick

he needed a force multiplier.

Here's my two cents: If you see someone who isn't handicapped parked in a handicap spot, report the person to the store manager, buy what you came to the store to get, and leave. The problem is the manager's responsibility to handle, not yours.

Ardwick Crome

Yeah, it's always someone else's problem. That's why the world is like it is.

@Ardwick Crome The store staff is responsible for making sure customers follow regulations, not the other customers. (That's why store security exists.) If you report someone who is violating regulations to the proper authority, you have acknowledged the problem and addressed it in an appropriate manner. Taking matters into your own hands in this situation is not a responsible way to handle it as you will be unnecessarily placing yourself in a sticky situation if the other person becomes angry. Anyway, this guy just wanted to pick a fight by carrying a gun and looking for trouble.

@V. McDonald or you yourself could notify the police that this is a long standing issue and they could address this parking issue themselves. There you’ve done your civic duty congenially. Nobody dies or gets beat up verbally or physically.
