T-Rock immediately moved to Memphis and began recording. His clever lyricism and tongue-twisting style immediately endeared T-Rock to fans all over the south. Widely regarded as one of the best lyricists to ever grace a Three 6 Mafia track, his appearances were partly responsible for the platinum successes of two albums and the sale of hundreds of thousands of other albums.
After a series of disagreements between he and his label, T-Rock decided to leave the Hypnotized Minds imprint he was signed to and embark on an independent career. Hooking up with his hometown crew Area 51, T-Rock went on to release several underground classics that have sold over 100,000 copies with barely any promotion or radio play. T-Rock has worked with a multitude of artists that include Too Short, Pastor Troy, Lil' Scrappy, Bo Hagon, Gangsta Boo, Lil Weavah, Max Minelli,Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Gangsta Pat, Al Kapone, Young Buck, Macboney & AK (of P$C) and Bizzy Bone just to name a few major names.
2006 was a great year for T-Rock and his fans as it saw the release of 'The Kush'. The album features production from M.A.J. of Xplosive Productions, DJ Cree, and T-Rock himself. Guest appearances include Max Minelli, P. Dukes of Countree Noise, and his Area 51 family. "This will be my most complete album to date," states the fiery emcee, "I've grown a lot and I believe its gonna show on this album." To say the south is waiting for this release would be an understatement.

Dancing in the blood
Like a swimming hole
See all the things that we can be
All the trouble we will flee
I just wanna believe
Oh, can you feel it in your body?
Oh, I can feel it all around me
Life of the party
Feel it in your body
Dance with a trusted hand
And if we ever fall, make it so grand
See whatever we can think
Without a sense of hope what am I to be?
Oh, can you feel it in your body?
Oh, can you feel it in your body?
Oh, I can feel it all around me
Life of the party
Feel it in your body
In T-Rock's song "Bodies," the lyrics convey a sense of freedom, self-expression, and the power of the human spirit. The opening lines, "Oh, can you feel it in your soul? Dancing in the blood, like a swimming hole," suggest a deep, innate connection to something greater than oneself. It speaks to the idea that there is an energy within us, pulsating and alive, that can be tapped into and enjoyed.
The lyrics then move on to describe the potential and possibilities that lie ahead, asking us to envision all the things we can become and the troubles we can leave behind. There is a longing to believe in something greater, something that transcends the current challenges and limitations we may face. It's a call to embrace a positive mindset and to find hope in the midst of uncertainty.
The chorus repeats the question, "Oh, can you feel it in your body?" emphasizing the physical and visceral nature of this feeling. It invites listeners to fully immerse themselves in the experience and to allow this energy to wash over them. The phrase "Life of the party" suggests that this feeling is not just personal but can also be shared with others, creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy.
The lyrics also touch on the concept of trust and support in relationships. The line "Dance with a trusted hand, and if we ever fall, make it so grand" suggests the importance of having someone to lean on when faced with challenges. It speaks to the idea of finding solace and strength in the companionship of others, allowing them to lift us up and make any setbacks or stumbles more meaningful.
In summary, "Bodies" is a song that celebrates the power of the human spirit, the potential for transformation, and the importance of connection and support in navigating life's ups and downs.
