Hi, Sage, I have this pump in my Amazon cart rn. My baby's due August 25th and this will be my first time trying breastfeeding. So, I'm a little anxious about it and doing alot of research. Thank you for uploading this informative video and love your upbeat attitude. So, my question is, what bags do you use for breast milk storage? I know this set comes with some but do you think they're of good quality? Also, just to have extra bags on hand. Thank you for taking the time to read. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello!! Thank you so much for your message! I used the lansinoh freezer bags! They are just plastic but I know you can get some reusable silicone freezer bags. In general the ones that’s come with pumps are hard to use and are not soft enough plastic if that makes sense! I would use the lansinoh or medela bags! Also I found if you lay them flat they are easier to use! You can check out my video about donating my breast milk to see how I store it! Also let me know if you have any other questions!! 6 months in the freezer but like 10 years if you get a dehydrator and dehydrate it to make powdered breast milk

Hi! I usually follow the CDC guidelines on breast milk storage! Freshly pumped milk can be on the counter for 4 hours, in the refrigerator for 4 days, and within 6 months if frozen! I have a bottle sterilizer that I will be making a video about soon! But the CDC says you can boil bottles and pump parts in water for 5 minutes!

How is the suction for this pump? Does it feel like the medela instyle? I ask because I like the suction and speed of the medela, and looking for a portable that mimics it. Thanks!

The suction is awesome! This is actually the pump I used the most consistently! I haven't tried the medela instyle but I assume medela is a little better because it is more common and often covered by insurance however, the portability of the NCVI is amazing!! For a portable pump, it has the best suction I have tried!!

I bought this pump and I’m waiting for it to arrive but I’m curious can I change how long it pumps for? I have watched many videos and haven’t seen anything about upping the pumping time

You can't change how long it pumps for but the pump shuts off after 30 minutes. You can stop before that or it has a pause feature!

Do I have to clean the silicone piece that sticks above the duct bill, attached to the pumping part not to the flange though?

I would say you probably don’t have to clean it unless it gets moisture in it!

Hi there, how do you know what mode to use while pumping. What mode did you use while making this video?

Honestly, I just use the mode that feel good! Like not too much pull! Usually they recommend starting out with a massage mode and the manual tells you what each mode. My favorite mode is the that has the two wavy lines! That is the one I used in the video!

With this pump did you have to pump sitting upright (completely straight up) or are you still able yo pump while relax?( sitting on you couch for example)

I usually sit a little forward while using any pump just to keep the milk going into the bottle but this has pretty strong suction and you could probably relax while using it! I usually use it on the first suction setting and I get about 3 oz per session!

You can put your pump parts in a ziplock bag and put it in the fridge so you dont have to wash every use😬

I just started pumping with this one and I don't get much milk come out at all. I'm using a size 21 do u think thats the wrong size for me?

I’m not sure if you are using the right size or not! I found a size guide online and it helped me find the right size! I would always try to sit up a little when I pumped to make sure the milk could come out! But messing around with the settings always helped me!
