The lyrics of Týr's song "I" depict the persona of an individual who is in control of their emotions and power, and who represents the idea of self-reliance and individualism. As a worshiper of DIO, I think he would have been hella proud of this tribute.
We can't expect a cover to sound exactly like the original. That is the whole point of a cover - to be a band's rendition of a song/ vocalist they admire.
I know for a fact that Ronnie James Dio is one of vocalist Heri Joensen's biggest idols and I think he did a fine job here :-)
