1) Tang is an Instrumental/Math Rock band from Nashville, TN
2) Tang was formed during the Autumn of 1997 and established its first line-up during the Winter of 2000. That time marked a renewal of activity for the outfit, and an ever-growing willingness to advance with their music was born.
The group released several demos, including a 3 track CD, given as a freebie, that astounded critics all over France. "Tang has a talent to grab your guts when the first chords are strummed, and the overall atmosphere is really emotional."
The music of the band is continually refined and finds its identity with a lot of practice, and the discovery of new influences. The result blends into a mixture of the actual noise scene and the original emo scene. After scouring a great deal of venues in Northern France and Belgium, and playing with many bands, they choose to record their first album.
To do so, they opt for an offensive strike, choosing as a studio the LB LAB of S. Buriez (Loudblast) on the outskirts of Lille. Several labels show interest for co-production, but emolution will finally release it by itself, and distribution will be handled by Overcome.
Soberly called "This Quietness Booms About on the Walls Like Birds in Panic", the album proposes 8 flabbergasting tracks, reflecting the potential of the band to transmit its emotions, and a potency for more.
The record has been well received by the press. Reviews and interviews accumulate while the group continues to traverse France with more and more amazing live performances.
After more than 50 dates in 2004, Ismaël was forced to leave the band for professionnal reasons, and was replaced by Sébastien (ex Klang! / Shagma) who takes the second guitar.
A new album is on the way, and the group gains financial support from ‘Domaine Musiques’, which will allow Tang to record at the Studios Feeling in Tourcoing, with David Beckhandt. The mix will be done at the legendary Tonteknik Studios (Refused, The Hives) in Umea (Sweden), with Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna).
"Another Thousand Days, Out of This World" will be out on the 2nd of May 2006 on Emolution / Overcome Distribution. In between, Tang wins the support of "La Marmitte Nord-Pas-de-Calais" who offers them a show case at "La Maroquinerie" in Paris, and also from "L’Aéronef" in Lille, who offers them a week of residency, concluding by a showcase in front of more than 400 fans.

This is the same tang we have and it’s one of the smallest fish in the tank yet beats the s* out of the Scott’s wrasse and swallowtail angel but also, they only go for film and diatom algae
Edit: 6ft tank with this and a achilles tang, how would that work out (Ours is very aggressive to most new fish)

Hey Brock, I have a 90-gallon mixed reef that is about 6 months old. I bought a yellow tang about 4 months ago and I love tangs so I would like to get a couple more. I am concerned about the aggression my yellow may have on new tangs. What about introducing two new tangs at the same time to counter the aggression? I have an opportunity to get a yellow belly hippo and a powder blue at the same time. I am a bit concerned about possible ick issues with the powder blue. The guy with the powdered blue has had a group of them for a couple of weeks. He says they are eating well and no signs of ick. I have to transport them over a 2-hour drive (stress concerns here). Some tang background...along with my yellow tang, I have a bluestreak cleaner wrasse, bi-colour angel, 2 clowns and a PJ cardinal. I may rehome the bi-colour angel (picking at my corals), PJ Cardinal and clowns. They all came from my previous tank.

You do realize that even having one tang in a 90 gallon is pushing it, right? And you wanted to add two more on top of that? In a six month old tank nonetheless? Yeah. I'd say that your concerns over aggression and stress to the tank are well founded, my friend.
