The Most Beautiful Love Story
Tania Saleh Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
Is the one that was never lived
The most beautiful love story
Is the word that was never said
It lasts a lifetime
It never ends no matter how long it takes
The most beautiful love story
The most beautiful love story
Is the word that was never said
The further it is, the closer it gets
The only old story that stays new
The further it is, the closer it gets
The only old story that stays new
There is no place for blame or a paper to sign
None of us is the loser, none of us is the winner
The most beautiful love story
Is the one that was never lived
The most beautiful love story
Is the word that was never said
The most beautiful love story
Is the one that was never lived
The most beautiful love story
Is the word that was never said
It lasts a lifetime
It never ends no matter how long it takes
The most beautiful love story
Is the one that was never lived
The most beautiful love story
Is the word that was never said
Why should I call you my love
What I feel is deeper than that
Even when you are away
You touch me without your hand
Why should I call you my love
What I feel is deeper than that
Even when you are away
You touch me without your hand
My soul met your soul
They found each other
It was out of our hands, you and me
It was out of our hands
In Tania Saleh's song "The Most Beautiful Love Story," the lyrics evoke a sense of longing and admiration for a love that was never fully realized. The repeated phrase "The most beautiful love story is the one that was never lived" sets the tone for the entire piece, highlighting the bittersweet beauty of a love that exists beyond the physical realm. This concept challenges traditional notions of love stories that are typically centered around lived experiences and spoken words. Instead, the song celebrates a love that transcends time and distance, emphasizing the depth and strength of emotions that endure despite never coming to full fruition.
The idea that the most beautiful love story is the word that was never said adds another layer of complexity to the narrative. By emphasizing the unspoken nature of this love, the lyrics suggest a silent and profound connection that defies conventional communication. This unspoken bond is portrayed as everlasting and timeless, symbolizing a love that is pure and unburdened by the constraints of verbal expression.
The line "The further it is, the closer it gets" introduces a paradoxical element to the song, suggesting that physical distance can actually deepen emotional closeness. This sentiment challenges the notion that physical proximity is necessary for love to thrive and implies that true connection transcends the boundaries of space and time. The idea that this love story is the only old story that stays new further underscores the timeless and eternal nature of the emotions being described.
The closing lines of the song bring a sense of resignation and acceptance to the narrative. The acknowledgment that "it was out of our hands" reflects a sense of fate or destiny shaping the course of the love story. Despite the inability to fully realize this love in a conventional sense, the lyrics suggest that the souls of the two individuals have found each other on a deeper level, beyond the constraints of the physical world. Overall, Tania Saleh's "The Most Beautiful Love Story" paints a poignant picture of a love that defies societal norms and expectations, celebrating the beauty and power of a connection that transcends the boundaries of time and space.
