Taylor Lyrics

Saw the toll, but still a n***a not paying
Raised by that pavement, Its really amazing
How we turned out, still n***s faded
Separating morals with portals, war with immortals
Still the streets don't know you
They know us though
All that hate stunting yo growth
N***s lying under oath
Fallback with a different approach, can't be controlled
Need to start saving my roach
Smoke that shit to the bone
Take flight as I float
Im thuggin in my white vans
This where I stand
Need a couple grand in my hands
Activate my pineal gland
The devil's scam, this is God's plan
But, im thuggin in my white vans
Wu-tang told me to protect my neck
Suga Free told me to before sex get that neck
How you toting guns with so much heat
To much heat when you need that respect
Im willing to die for mine
On a 365 type of grind
A young seven, a real sixteen
Gettin shit done by any means
Raging against the machine
We the people under the sun
Still a dog n****a, fucking on Kathleen
Penny have a good family, knowing she right for me
Rather fuck with LaCienga though
Took a L last week though
Life been on standby, road blocks
They don't know about the block
Jumping fences, avoiding cops
Birds flocking cuz of the gun shots
Im thuggin in my white vans
This where I stand
Need a couple grand in my hands
Activate my pineal gland
The devil's scam, this is God's plan
But, im thuggin in my white vans
See picture this, bad dreams potentially be memories
All this foe incidents don't reminisce
Got me tappin into my innocence
This is the beginning of s***, that I am finishing
Awkwardly staring cuz it don't make sense thats why
I be thuggin , thuggin, thuggin
Thuggin in my white vans
She say I be thuggin in my white tee
late night she call, but she won't like me
Yea its the night freaks
Thuggin in my white vans
Playing dope and big plans
The lyrics of Taylor's song "Thuggin" delve deep into the struggles and complexities of life in the streets, highlighting the challenges of growing up in a harsh environment while striving to maintain one's integrity and values. The opening lines convey a sense of persistent struggle, with references to the constant grind of life and the toll it takes on an individual. Despite facing hardships, the persona acknowledges that they have not succumbed to the negative influences around them, showcasing resilience in the face of adversity.
The references to being raised by the pavement imply a connection to the streets and a gritty upbringing that has shaped the persona's outlook on life. The mention of separating morals with portals and warring with immortals speaks to the ongoing battle between right and wrong in a volatile environment where loyalty and trust are constantly tested. The persona reflects on the changing dynamics of their surroundings, with hints of betrayal and falsehood disrupting the once familiar landscape.
As the narrative unfolds, the persona delves into themes of self-preservation and spiritual awakening. The invocation of Wu-Tang Clan and Suga Free as influences underscores the importance of protection and self-reliance in a world where survival is paramount. The persona's willingness to stand firm and take risks for what they believe in showcases a sense of determination and principled defiance against the forces that seek to undermine them.
The recurring motif of thuggin in white vans symbolizes a sense of rebellious defiance and resilience in the face of adversity. The persona expresses a readiness to confront challenges head-on, harnessing their inner strength and tapping into their innocence as a source of power. The references to navigating through bad dreams and memories allude to a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth, marked by a defiance of societal norms and a commitment to staying true to one's roots despite the odds. Ultimately, the persona embraces their identity as a thug in white vans, navigating a world of uncertainty with confidence and fortitude.

I'm like 8 foot 4, blond hair to the floor
you shorties never thought I dreamed about rapping hardcore
no I ain't got a gun
no I never really been in a club
still live with my parents
but I'm still a thug
I'm so gangsta you can find me baking cookies at night
you out clubbing, but I just made caramel delight
t swift and t pain rappin on the same track
it's a thug story tell me can you handle that
I had a dream last night I had high-top NIkes
I had diamonds in my mouth, and diamonds on my mic
by the time I woke I was singing "I'M ON A BOOOOAAT"
cuz I'm a singer turned rapper
shorty I'm a make ya
straight to the top, yo
shorty I'ma take ya
you can call me T Sweezy now I'm a rap star
hey it's a thug story now tell them who you are
singer turned gangsta
you don't wanna fight me
straight to the top
in my extra small white tee
t swift and t pain all up on the same track
it's a thug story tell now can you get with that
what! what! I knit sweaters yo!
what! what! don't test me [bleep]
hey hold on, hold on I didn't even say anything
