The song Onyenekwu by Tekno featuring Ice Prince is a remix of the original version. The lyrics of the song talk about the abilities of different individuals and things that they can and cannot do. It is a show-off of prowess, and both artists use a quick delivery and laid-back rhymes to get their points across. In the first verse, Tekno tells listeners things they cannot do, which includes turning kerosene into ice, making a monkey smile, or facing him one-on-one. He also touches on how he feels on top of the world, standing on top of the world, and being on top of the world.
In the second verse, Ice Prince raps about his early days, how everything was rough for him, and how he struggled to be successful. He tells Tekno that he's on the right track, and he promises him that he will blow. The chorus is repeatedly sprinkled throughout the song, including the lines "Onyenekwu" which is translated to mean "people like us." The lyrics are catchy and vivid, and the artist's ability to deliver a punchy, memorable hook is commendable.
