For the starting point of their research musicians took the creativity of the EBM classics, such as Front 242 and Front Line Assembly. Due to the low popularity of hard electronic music in Russia and the "dark" culture in general, The-Pulsar remained in the shadow until 2005. The band gained fame after the release of the album "Awakening" on Advoxya records. Starting from this time, the group actively participates and collaborates with other bands.
