Architects Hallucinate
The Agonist Lyrics
""Starlight darkens the edge of the blade Made to perforate your true immortal state Or will this be another cheap victory Raise your shield break your arms today there's no reason to fight So go ahead and heal your wounds under artificial night skies You forgot to listen to yourself Test the waters you will see (dive deep) Black eyes paralyze (no sight) At the foot of the bed they lie in wait (weak mind) Architects hallucinate The last one standing will be mine I'll swallow every piece of time Life can bring no guarantees Built my trenches am I guilt free? To forsake my harmless state Will be my guide I must try to find a better way Vision blurs senses heighten drowning in the finer pleasures Architects hallucinate stairways to the surface Or will the guilt keep weighing you down Shadows rising tall to consume you The monster you embraced (the monster you embraced) Is a structure you must precipitate The last one standing will be mine I'll swallow every piece of time Life can bring no guarantees Built my trenches am I guilt free? To forsake my harmless state Will be my guide I must try to find a better way""
