The All-American Rejects Lyrics

Sempre o mesmo esquema
Mas que estupidez
E pra variar Você não chegou lá
Como da última vez
No início lhe dava flores
Agora são atores
Que fingem se gostar
Tudo o que demonstram
É querer sair de lá
E agora ficou a lembrança
Aquela nossa dança
E a insegurança
De não conseguir
Encontrar mais ninguém
Nesse mundo pra amar
These lyrics, translated from Portuguese, are from the bonus track of The All-American Rejects's song. The song begins with the singer expressing their disappointment at waiting in front of the cinema, following the same routine, only to be let down once again by the person they were expecting. The singer reflects on how they used to give flowers to this person but now they see them as actors pretending to like each other. When they finally meet, all they demonstrate is a desire to leave each other's presence.
The second verse dives deeper into the emotions of the singer. They mention that all that remains now is the memory of their dance together and their insecurity of not being able to find anyone else to love in this world.
These lyrics capture the feeling of expectation, disappointment, and insecurity in a relationship. The singer seems to have been let down by their partner repeatedly, and they understand that the feelings between them are no longer genuine or reciprocal. The mention of actors and pretending suggests a lack of authenticity in the relationship, adding to the frustration the singer feels.
