Yuna, Yujin, Minju, Halla, and Jane, members Minju and Yuna re-debuted in duo KHAN.
2. The Ark is a glam rock band from Växjö, Sweden. The band was formed in 1991 by Ola Salo, Mikael Jepson, and Lasse Ljungberg. Martin Axén joined the band in 1997, and Sylvester Schlegel in ‘99. Jens Andersson was the last one to officially join, in October 2006. Jens is a familiar face from many The Ark gigs, as he has played the keyboard with the band for several years. Their lyrics are mostly written by singer Ola Salo, and many of them are controversial, especially the earlier ones. For example, the 2002 single Father of a Son is about homosexuals’ right to have children. The band tour Scandinavia, Germany and Italy regularly and were one of the support acts to The Darkness on their 2006 UK tour.
The Ark participated in, and won, the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2007 with the song “The Worrying Kind”, written by Ola Salo. The song was also Sweden’s Eurovision 2007 entry and is included on their fourth album, Prayer For The Weekend. In the spring of 2010, the band relased their fifth album In Full Regalia and toured somewhat in connection with this. On December 8th 2010, the band announced on their website that they would release a greatest hits-album in early 2011, marking their 20th anniversary as a band. In connection with this, there is to be a club tour in Scandinavia. However, the band also announced that this would be their last club tour, only followed by some festival shows during the summer. The reason for this was said to be that the band felt they had achieved what they intended to artistically, and felt it was time to move on.
In early 2020 the band announced they will make a comeback with a summer tour around Sweden

Hey Kwanongoma!
The Ark Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And the gaudy red persona
Was still hanging on the wall
A-waiting to enthrall
Had no cannabis to sedate us
So we smoked carrots and potatoes
Tea and head-ache pills
So don't talk to me like that
I'm also a cat
Don't know where you've been
But I know where it's at
It's taken me time to work out what to do
What to do with you
Took me all afternoon to think it all through
But now I'm done, done, done, done thinkin'
Done, done, done and I'm thinking:
Oh, Oh No!
Hey Kwanongoma!
You spin me around
My head upside down
I'm down on my knees
I'm begging you please
How low can you go?
When we're out on our own
How low can you go?
How low can we go?
Then you came along
My whole world was changed
With fire and song
My old dreams were gone
And I knew that nothing could tear us apart
And nothing did tear
Tear us apart
Now it hurts in my heart
(I'm singing) Now na-na-na-nothing
Is all I got
Hey Kwanongoma!
You spin me around
My head upside down
I'm down on my knees
I'm begging you please
How low can we go
When we're out on our own
How low can you go
How low can we go?
The Ark's song Hey Kwanongoma! seems to be about the singer's youth and their experiences with experimenting with substances. The first verse refers to their loner status and their attempt to escape reality through smoking unconventional things like carrots and potatoes in the absence of cannabis. They seem to be reminiscing about this time in their life, nostalgia for the thrills and the sense of detachment it gave them. The chorus seems to be addressed to someone named Kwanongoma, who they describe as "spinning them around" and having turned their "whole world" around. They seem to be pleading with Kwanongoma to stay with them and asking them how low they can go when they are out on their own. The final verse concludes with the singer accepting that they no longer have anything left but Kwanongoma.
Overall, the song seems to be about a transformative experience that the singer had while experimenting with substances that caused them to feel a sense of detachment from reality. They seem to have left this phase of their life behind, but not necessarily with regret. They seem to have moved on to new experiences with Kwanongoma, who has become central to their life and their sense of reality.
