Taking me along the way I know Iโm flying
Out rhythm out of time, it seems alright
How do I know what to do when there are no rules?
Hear in here cries a voice inside.
I tell you what to do and how to live your life
The changes will make you, you
its all up to you
Over here over there
people running everywhere
Only trouble is theyโre there they donโt know where
In out all around first youโre up then down
Whatchaโ gonna do when all you got left you
Hear in here cries a voice inside
I tell you what to do and how to live your life
The changes will make you, you
and make you go where youโre going to
its all up to you
Idle conversation making love raising love
speaks of revelation from way above
All this senseless hassles keeping us from love
Who is he who is she probably some one I could be
Hear in here cries a voice inside
I tell you what to do and how to live your life
The changes will make you, you
and make you go where youโre going to
its all up to you
Bam ba da
The Association's song, Hear In Here, speaks about stepping out of hiding and going on a journey with no set rules. The upbeat melody creates a feeling of excitement and the lyrics encourage listeners to take charge of their lives and make the changes they need. The lyrics suggest that there is a voice inside that tells us what to do and how to live our lives, but ultimately, it is up to us to make our own decisions.
The song seems to touch on the idea of self-discovery and breaking free of societal norms. The lines "only trouble is theyโre there they donโt know where" suggest that people are blindly moving through life without any direction or purpose. However, the lyrics also suggest that there is hope for change and growth through the line "the changes will make you, you and make you go where youโre going to, it's all up to you."
Overall, Hear In Here is an uplifting song that inspires listeners to take control of their lives and make their own paths.
