They focused specifically on dance music and appealed to several subgenres, particularly house music. Amanda Glanfield and Paul Carter were both veterans of the commercial jingle industry, and were introduced to Richard Walmsley (born 18 September 1962, in Brighton, Sussex) in 1987. Together they formed a highly successful production trio, working with Betty Boo, the Cookie Crew, P.P. Arnold, Yazz, Claudia Fontaine, Elaine Vassell and Merlin.
They also released two albums under the Beatmasters name; "Anywayawanna" (1989) and "Life and Soul" (1991).

I've got a fist full of whiskey, the bottle just bit me
Oh, that shit makes me bat shit crazy
We've got no fear, no doubt, all in balls out
We're going off tonight to kick out every light
Take anything that we want, drink everything in sight
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight
I got a fist full of fifties, tequila just hit me
Oh, we got no class, no taste, no shirt, and shit faced
We got it lined up, shot down, firing back straight crown
We're going off tonight to kick out every light
Take anything that we want, drink everything in sight
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight
Ticking like a time bomb, drinking till the night's gone
Well, get you hands off of this glass, last call my ass
Well, no chain, no lock, and this train won't stop
We got no friend, no doubt, all in balls out
We're going off tonight to kick out every light
Take anything that we want, drink everything in sight
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight
We're going off tonight to kick out every light
Take anything that we want, drink everything in sight
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight
The lyrics to The Beatmastersβ song Burn It Up paint a vivid picture of a wild night out with friends. The songβs protagonist describes the scene at midnight, as theyβve all had too much to drink and are βwound up too tight.β The lyrics boast of having βno fear, no doubt, all in balls out,β and theyβre βgoing off tonight to kick out every light.β
The partygoers are described as being in a state of frenzy, βscreaming like demons, swinging from the ceiling.β Theyβre drinking heavily and taking whatever they want, βdrinking everything in sight.β The lyrics suggest a reckless abandonment of self-control, where the consequence-free enjoyment of the night is paramount. The singer is unconcerned about appearing respectable, βwe got no class, no taste, no shirt, and shit faced,β reveling instead in the pure joy of the moment.
As the night continues and the drinking persists, the song compares the behavior to a ticking timebomb, waiting to explode into a frenzy of unrestrained pleasure. The lyrics suggest that there are no boundaries or limits at the party, with βno chain, no lock, and this train wonβt stop.β The song ends with the idea that they will continue to party βtill the world stops turning,β reveling in the sense of never-ending pleasure that the night provides.
Overall, Burn It Up celebrates the joys of indulgence and pleasure-seeking without consequence. It presents a world where inhibitions are thrown to the wind, and the moment is all that matters.

She really is a great singer, still touring apparently. Her performance with The Small Faces was 20 years before this and quite stunning.
