Has that bluesy sound , for a folk band !!! The Byrds revolutionized the biz...along w/ The Stones , The Beatles , The Doors , The Who , Etc !!!

@RobertoGinsburg

Cause this track was made inspired by the "new rhythms" of Lee Dorsey/ James Brown at that time.

@dang2443

@@RobertoGinsburg I'm hearing more Booker T and MGs

@RobertoGinsburg

@@dang2443 Yeah, also , no doubt. "Bootleg" by example (sampled by DJ Muggs).

@111bodog

@@jorgeperez9842Jorge, you nailed it! There are a number of versions of that song, but the one I think of when I hear this is The Leaves version. Are we the only ones to hear the connection?

@goldenstreets29

Love it❀

@irvinhansen7173

Gene Clark's harp playing is over the top cool.

@beatmasterboyce5812

One thumbs down.
How can you give the byrds a thumb down?

@munimathbypeterfelton6251

It might have been from Roger McGuinn's first (and then-) wife Ianthe McGuinn, author of the book, In The Wings: My Life With Roger McGuinn and The Byrds (2017). Roger and Ianthe divorced in 1971 near the end of The Byrds' career.
