"Ladies Man" was their only top 40 single in the UK and "Get Loose" broke top 40 rock radio airplay in the US. This was followed by appearances on Letterman and the like. Many of The D4's songs have been used in commercials, movies and video games.
In 2006 The D4 announced that they were going on a indefinite hiatus. Lunadon went on to form The True Lovers in NYC with an album slated for release in 2010. Christmas formed Luger Boa and released their debut album in 2008.

I know just where to go
Take a seat at a restaurant
Where the waiter knows what I want yeah
Hey
Sumimasen
Can I get a little sake here
Better get myself prepared
Ichi ni san shi
B.O.M.B
Touch down in Tokyo
I know just where to go
Take a seat at a restaurant
Where the waiter knows what I want yeah
Touch down in Tokyo
I know just where to go
S.A.K.E.B.O.M.B.
We'll be dancing on the table tops
Keep it shaking 'till they make us stop hey
Combination make you feel alright
But you know it's gonna make you blind yeah
Is that beaver down there?
Can I get a little sake here
Drop it into a glass of beer
Better get myself prepared
Ichi ni san shi
B.O.M.B.
We'll be dancing on the table tops
Keep it shaking 'till they make us stop hey
Combination make you feel alright
But you know it's gonna make you blind yeah
Touch down in Tokyo
I know just where to go
Touch down in Tokyo
I know just where to go

The D4's song Sake Bomb is about the experience of arriving in Tokyo and heading straight to a restaurant where the waiter knows what you want. You know what you want too, a little sake dropped into a glass of beer, the perfect combination known as Sake Bomb. The lyrics capture the excitement of arriving in a bustling and lively city, letting go of your inhibitions and having a good time with friends.
The chorus of the song urges the listener to "keep it shaking 'till they make us stop", acknowledging that the combination of sake and beer will make them feel blind but they push on to dance on table tops and have the time of their lives. In Japan, Sake Bomb is not a traditional way of consuming sake but it has become popular among tourists looking for a fun and unique drinking experience.
