Them’s Good Eating literally saved my life on this DLC. The lack of Stimpaks in the early parts really hurts. But being able to scavenge the Blood Sausages and the Thin Red Pastes really made this easier even on hard and very hard

Wait; Collars 8, 12 and 14?
Assuming they're issued in any kind of order might be a misstep,but if they are numbered based on when they were issued that would make 8 the nightkin, 12 the ghoul, and 14 Christine, if I'm remembering correctly?
The largest gap left in the sequence implies the 8,9,10,11 team was a previous failure, and the nightkin ate the wearer of collar 8, leaving the smallest gap for the player. Collar 13.
The Courier can never escape the Vault Dweller's shadow. (I'm not saying that Elijah did it with intent, more that it's a dev reference to Vault 13)

It sure doesn't hurt my headcanon that Courier Six is another vault dweller descendant just like The Chosen one though.

I remember following the radio trail, just because I was curious, and I kinda rushed throuh the game. I regreted every moment I entered the damn bunker and had no idea were I was. Let's say this DLC creeped the hell out of me. I reloaded the a previous save, and sworn never to come back. Untill now, since I started the game over again.
But I think im going to level up more just in case, and the fact im playing on Very Hard is going to be a challenge....wish me luck

It becomes easy the second time you play. The first time I never looked around and rushed through it but on my second time round, I found a helmet and I used armour for quests from Caesar arena since quest items aren’t removed. I also found the Stimpack recipe

From what I've been able to tell, Dog was the origional personality, since its "Dog" carved into his chest. I think at some point he looked in a mirror and read "GOD" and that's how his second personality, god, was forged. That's why even though god is the smarter of the two, I always keep him as dog.

Elijah is one of the most interesting and nuanced villains I've ever seen. You don't even need to know his origin or anything. He's a genius who has seen so many people he cared about die that he just fell apart, and Helios was the tipping point. Such an amazing character.

@Jack S'tickeye Late to this but that's not quite accurate. The c finder can be used once a day and honestly wouldn't hurt the ncr much. The Helios defence doesn't need the c finder and can have power set to it before you even know about the c finder. Elijah wasn't able to activate the plant itself In any way, either from pressure, being unhinged or incompetence.

@100 million subscribers without videos He wanted to use the Archimedes weapon for the Brotherhood but he lacked the Euclid’s C-Finder, the key component. If he had it, the Brotherhood would probably win the battle as the NCR would've gotten fried by the pannels outside and he would've had the orbital laser. So not that mad, he just wanted to use the C-Finder to defeat the NCR and strengthen the BoS by a lot. It made him mad that he failed to get it and defeat the NCR.

I remember Sierra madre had this one quest for me in the actual tower where dog had to tell me something and I couldn’t ever get him to do it. It was in the kitchen with all the cosmic knives. Around then I had this glitch in my copy of the game or dlc, edit:dog and god couldn’t switch:tide. So I had to force it. But I never got the full immersion for the story. I stole all the gold both using commands and on one copy of the Xbox one game. You could go past the force field if you dropped them all at once close enough and still manage to escape the explosion. I think I killed dog or didn’t need his help for some reason that play through though. Maybe it worked perfectly and I don’t remember lol

this DLC and Lonesome road are my FAV DLCs ever ...i love the atmosphere and lore both have TY oxhorn for adding your own brand of Story telling to one of my fav DLCs for new vegas

Ah, the best DLC in the game for me. I remember my first playthrough, exploring every nook and crany for all the vending machine holotapes, the atmosphere, even the radio traps. And a good message at the end.

I started playing this dlc at level 12
Ended at level 20
I started this dlc dying every 10 minutes trying to outrun the ghosts, but not being able to because they'd hit me every time
I ended this dlc trying to outrun Elijah, but not being able because I had 37 pieces of gold on my pockets.
10/10 learned to let go of the past but not the gold lmao

This wasn't my favorite DLC, but it was nonetheless a really fun and interesting one. Especially because if the regenerating enemies.

For some reason the Sierra Madre reminds me of a cross between New Vegas and The Capital Wasteland, even the music sounds like a mix.
Maybe it's Dog and God. He reminds me alot of Fawkes: intelligent and loyal.

I'm glad for the choices in the ending relating to him, the most tear jerking thing in the dlc. I'm glad I saved them both, although at the same time it was like killing our first friend/s in the Sierra Madre.

Hey Oxhorn, i wanted to renew my thanks for your content, i love Fallout games but i have very little spare time between family and work, my favorite things to do is miniature sculpting and painting and thanks to you i can spend my evenings painting while being immersed in this Fallout lore i have loved for so long.
I think every game with great lore deserve theyr own Oxhorn to share with great talent how deep they can be.

When I attempted Dead Money, I saved before I went in and left Rex, my favorite companion, behind (Really not fair btw. He would have been very useful in there)
It was creepy from the start but i didn't really mind. I was stuck in the prison, trying to free Dog for a long time. I was in a stand-off with a bunch of guards I finally killed. After walking around and getting the other companions, killing a few more creatures, I got lost. I couldn't get out of an area closed in by houses and catwalks.
I went back to my save and ran away from that grate to do a different quest.

I can only hope that you are planning on a Big MT DLC video. That was the start of a truly useful player HQ. On a side note one of the features that F4 offers the others don't is respawning loot. Locations fully stocked to loot over and over. Truly a shame that this was not a feature in F3 or New Vegas

Been watching for a while now and have to say. I have never been so freaking pissed at myself for missing all of this my first playthrough of New Vegas when it first came out. Now on PlayStation 4 I wish New Vegas was on here to go at it again in the Mojave. Keep up the good work Oxhorn.

Now years later i still remember the jaded Apathy i felt and its first impression has kept me from playing. I hope to finish it vicariously through you oxhorn :)
