Arsenio Hall is extremely underrated and he needs his own show again. He lets his guests talk unlike many of these interrupt happy talkshow hosts, asks the right questions and carries the interview along in such a smooth and real way.

This was such a soothing interview. Weirdly enough considering some of Megans topics. BUT the host was so calm and respectful towards her, so she was able to truly be genuine and the conversation flowed so organically. She paints such a picture when she speaks and I have never had the chance to see her speak so freely during an interview like this. Props to the host, he set the mood perfectly.

That was a smear campaign created by Michael bay because she was vocal about how much he sexually exploited her on screen since she was 15. She spoke up and called him out for being a tyrant, and so he got her blacklisted. Also to the comment below you, there is no such thing as having a big mouth, she's not supposed be an obedient princess. Working on transformers isn't easy and actors should be vocal when they need something. Simple. She was treated badly because she was objectified

I mean this sincerely; how sacred can it really be when you take a ‘culture vulture’ approach, expecting it to be a five-star experience? Or just dipping in and out of the ‘exciting’ parts of sacred traditions? I don’t blame the indigenous people for commodifying the experience if they can get rich narcissists to pay for it…similar things happen in my country! People come for the traditional ceremonies, seeking ‘enlightenment’ or spiritual top-ups, without understanding (or perhaps wilfully ignoring) that they’re part of a wider, cultural context that. Then they go back to the superficial lives which led them to seek something ‘deeper’ in the first place, waxing lyrical about how they are renewed lol.

I love her take on the psyche and ayahuasca. If you enter a hell dimension, it’s in your mind. You don’t actually go to hell. I read comments of people being afraid to unleashing demons, but when that experience happens it is just the person’s fear showing them how they torture themselves in their head. Arsenio is a fantastic host - personable, compassionate, engaged, and lets the guests BE.

He did an interview on his show (in the 80s) with Vanity. She was clearly anxious and on drugs. He was holding her hand the entire time, but in a way that seemed so natural that you wouldn't have noticed. A class act.

My first reaction was to say he wasn’t a very good host.

Then I realized he’s literally the only host on these types of shows that actually let the guest tell their stories without interrupting 100 times for a cheap joke. I enjoyed it.

It seems like Megan is a very spiritual person and holds that dear but when you're on a talk show the host is trying to keep the mood light-hearted and fun. It would be interesting to see Megan start her own podcast or appear on podcasts that give her the platform to express herself in that way.

Took everyone long enough!
I saw her on some movie list like yesterday on YouTube and I was immediately annoyed (again) over everything she’s had to deal with
It’s so nice to see ppl giving her credit and acknowledging that like hey, she was pretty upfront and honest about how crappy so many women are treated (often by people who acted as if they totally got what she was saying…and then at the same time in the same interview…they end up treating her the same way—which I’m sure is why seeing her being treated with respect is so awesome to all of us lol)
I’m so thrilled she’s being treated with the respect she should be treated with (and it’s pretty cool that her voice has impacted that for lots of other women too)

When an individual barely respects their own self, which is revealrd in the way they act, dress etc due to their insecurities, than how can you expect others to respect you. Arsenio is extremely genuine and kind in general so shes lucky he even invited her they are polar opposites
