The Expendables Lyrics

Don't make me feel this way
Not right now
But I can see it in your face
And I can tell you
What you mean to me
But I'm afraid to
Cause you might not agree
Cause I don't want to be the one to tell it first
Oh I, I, I,
Oh I, I, I,
I've never seen you like this
Oh I, I, I,
Oh I, I, I,
Wanna give you one last kiss
Oh see
Things from my perspective
In many ways
It was my first time too
So don't hate me
Cause I'm that fool
I never meant to
Be that cruel
And I imagine what you think
I prey to god that your
heart doesn't sting
I don't really wanna make things worse
This is the only way
I can keep from bursting
I wish you could see me
Why don't you look at me
I can't call you on the phone
It's been this long
And we're so remote
So behave babe
I know your just fine
You haven't escaped me
Cause in this world I'm blind
The Expendables' song "Jenny" is a ballad about a person who is trying to come to terms with a relationship that has ended badly. The lyrics suggest that the writer is still in love with "Jenny" but is too afraid to tell her for fear of rejection. He acknowledges that he may have hurt her in the past and that he's unsure about how she feels about him now. This uncertainty has left him feeling vulnerable and helpless.
The writer's tone and choice of words convey a sense of regret and longing. He wants to make amends and let Jenny know how much she means to him. However, he's afraid of what she might say if he takes the risk of telling her his feelings. The chorus, "Oh I, I, I, I've never seen you like this. Oh I, I, I, Wanna give you one last kiss," expresses the writer's desire to reconcile and to have one more chance to show his love for Jenny.
Overall, the song "Jenny" is a touching and heartfelt portrayal of a person dealing with the complexity of emotions after a breakup. It captures the pain and regret that often come with the end of a relationship and the longing for a second chance.

Oh please
Please don't do what you're doing
Don't make me feel this way
I don't want to feel the way you're making me feel
Not right now
This is not the right time for this
But I can see it in your face
I can tell what you're thinking just by looking at you
And I can tell you
I want to tell you
What you mean to me
How important you are to me
But I'm afraid to
I'm scared to
Cause you might not agree
Because you might reject me
And I imagine that you heard
I assume that you already know
Cause I don't want to be the one to tell it first
Because I don't want to be the first to say it
Oh I, I, I,
I am feeling so much right now
Oh I, I, I,
I am overwhelmed
I've never seen you like this

Wanna give you one last kiss
I want to kiss you one more time
Oh see
Listen to me
Things from my perspective

Because I made a mistake
I never meant to
I didn't intend to

Be so harsh
And I imagine what you think
I wonder what's going through your mind
I prey to god that your heart doesn't sting
I hope I haven't hurt you too much
I don't really wanna make things worse
I don't want to make the situation any worse
This is the only way
Talking about it like this is the only option I have
I can't call you on the phone
I can't talk to you over the phone
It's been this long
It's been a while
And we're so remote
And we're so far apart
So behave babe
Just act normally, please
I know your just fine
I know you're okay
You haven't escaped me
I haven't forgotten about you
Cause in this world I'm blind
Because I'm clueless about what's going on in your head
