The band was formed in 2007 and primarily performs live shows at festivals, fairs, theater and other specialty type venues around the South East and East Coast. While the Folsom Prison Gang doesn’t promote themselves as an impersonation act, they are heavily influenced by the styles present during the early years of Johnny Cash generally keep the song arrangements somewhat true to the originals (they do spice it up a bit).

In 2011 the band released their first album titled “Cash Only” that is a collection of 10 of their favorite Johnny Cash songs that they covered in their own style.

There just aren't enough guards and the design of the prison is poor. Nobody can just go do their time. There are always a bunch of drama queens trying to make everyone bow down to their gang, or leader. They are evil, and there is no supervision because of the lack of funding for guards. There should be 2 guards fir every inmate to make it a somewhat safe place. It will never happen.

I did 5 years in federal prison, people used magazines tied around them as body armor at medium security but you get severely punished if staff finds body armor on you. I don’t know why, it doesn’t stop them from doing anything but it protects you from a poker.

The coolest thing I ever saw made was a fan with the screen and blade cut off and one of the inmates from maintenance found a stove eye they attached to where the blade of the fan was, when plugged up the fan became a red hot oven eye! Also in maintenance they made a fold up moonshine still that went in the bottom of a locker, that was pretty cool too. On top of prison stories I’m adding martial arts on my channel too. I’m a judo brown belt and train with Tarek Moneir (former Olympian) and blue belt in bjj with Paulo Santana (world champ), with them I’m going to make practical self defense videos too.

This Intel should immediately trigger a response. Attacks on inmates demonstrates lack of control by Correctional officers and puts them in serious danger. This should not be happening in this day and age. Before inmates get out of cell (shot caller), the inmates in leadership positions need to have waist chains and handcuffs Isolation and lack of time outside of cell or Pod is extremely reduced.
