Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hear my song, Violetta,
Hear the song that's in my heart
Please be mine, Violetta,
Say that we will never part

Every night I'm dreaming of you
Every night I want to whisper, "Dear, I love you!"
Hear my song, Violetta,
Hear the song that's in my heart!

Vielen Dank für das schöne Lied.

Ultralightweight material made the most of, which still really isn't very much. In 1940 Glenn and Ray Eberle did many such songs, simply because RCA wanted a budget rendition of whatever Dorsey and Sinatra put out on Victor.

I would hardly put the Glenn Miller orchestra in the budget class of bands. His record sales certainly didn't reflect that status.

@Swingman 56 Could he be referring to the 35-cent Bluebird disc?
