Few seem to understand,
you cannot be a Proxy for someone,
and do anything in their name and behalf and in their stead,
unless you have their permission, PERIOD.
Jesus was a PROXY for those that truly accepted him as their
Lord and Savior, which was giving him authority/permission
to bear you sins, and die in you place on the cross.
Accepting him as merely a great prophet, or a great teacher,
or a great example to live by, will send you to hell, along with those that said the words. but did notย trulyย accept him as their Lord and Savior, as it does not give him permission/authority to act as your PROXY on the cross. So, Jesus will say, "I never knew you,"
Life- It's all about Jesus.

Congratulations on just starting to read the Bible.. allow me
To give you a few heads up on what todays modern Christianity teaches. That arenโt true.
1) Genesis 1 isnโt about the creation of the material world. Itโs a temple creation account. Using the 7 days of the week as a template.
Day 7 is Jesus.. as the New Testament says. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath.
2) Adam and Eve arenโt the first 2 people.. They are the first 2 people God called into a covenant relationship..
3) the DEATH in Genesis 3 isnโt physical.. itโs a covenant separation death. Meaning .. Adam and Eve were in Gods Presence (the garden) sinned and got kicked out.
4) the nakedness isnโt physical nakedness. It represents sin being exposed.
Genesis 2: 25 ยถ And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
This isnโt about not having cloths on. Itโs about the unaware/ ashamed cause they had not sinned against God yet.
Genesis 3: 6 ยถ So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
When they are of the tree. There eyes were opened (understood) that they sinned. And realized they were naked.
5) the flood of Noah wasnโt global but localโฆ
Iโll stop here. Itโs a lot to absorb.

I think I caused it by finding enough money just yesterday to pay for a month of DW+ ;0) I'm of course being silly & am SO grateful this is available to a much wider audience. This is an excellent, interesting group, it's amazing they were all able to come do this, it must be wonderful to be in that room. Not just a head on a Zoom call.
