Their second studio release, titled Perfect Solutions and recorded in Abbey Road studios, London with the help of producer Nick Webb (has worked with artists and acts such as John Lennon, Queen, Pink Floyd and Duran Duran), sees the daylight in 2001 and is followed by Flashback Mornings with it’s hit single Walk All Night. The Hobos are hailed by many critics as the best thing to come out of Latvia in the last decade.
In 2004, after two long years, The Hobos came out with yet another successful release – band’s first double album Radio Jah Jah. A very special occasion, since the second CD is complied almost entirely of cover versions. Suffice to say, this another example of The Hobos long-standing search for original musical directions.
Since 2006 The Hobos are back in studio, working on their next release due, which is due out soon.

The Hobos Lyrics

Creating all the birds and light
He will surely break the laws
Gonna hold you tight
Almost every moment god is there
Where your eyes are where dead is sound
He will surely disobey
Gonna go away
Don't you stop your fasting
It is the 52-day
Its only life that counts so stay cool
Leave the woods now
Rise rise sky-bound host
My time time count is lost
Id rather swallow down just once
Don't give us guns
Go back where you came from
We'll erase your file
One more smile will kill us on time
All of you must have a clue
Why you made that deal with the world
Now what
Ram nam tat sat.
The Hobos's song Ram Nam is a mystical and cryptic speculations about life and creation. The lyrics start with a fascinating reference to God, who is waiting at the cloud today, caught in the act of creating all the birds and light. The song discusses themes of mortality, disobedience, and love, with the promise that God will break the laws and hold the listener tight.
The lyrics express the idea that God is always present, existing almost every moment and everywhere, with the power to disobey and steal away. The song emphasizes the importance of perseverance in the face of difficulties - "Don't you stop your fasting, It is the 52-day, It’s only life that counts so stay cool, leave the woods now." The last verse of the song talks about the dangers of power and the consequences of a reckoning. Essentially, the song is about life, and suggests that the only true purpose of life is to gain wisdom and spiritual growth, cautious against greed, power, and fear.
